Big and great looking!
4 Star Review   By JetTool on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

A few minor problems...first, the small 'catch pan' that collects water from the ice/water dispenser is really small and requires frequent 'changing'. Next, the arm that is pressed to dispense water is at such an angle that you cannot press the arm with the cup you are trying to fill...so you need to either use your other hand to press it or extend your fingers wile holding the cup you are filling...

Good fridge. Easy to configure to suit needs
4 Star Review   By Craig on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2013

The only real issue I have is that the ice maker spits out crushed ice even after cubed is selected which is annoying but hasn't been annoying enough for me to call service. It's much more value on sale full price is a little high.

ice maker is problem
3 Star Review   By mason on Home Depot - Mar 15, 2013

i purchased this refrigerator a year ago and it has a lot of nice feature and plenty of storage space. However, it has the worse ice maker of any refrigerator I have ever owned, it gets jammed on crush ice, which i hate, and to correct the problem you have to pull the ice tray out and dump out the ice, rinse off the crusher to unfreeze it, put the ice back in the tray and re-install it. This is an almost weekly event. i will never buy another refigerator with this type of ice maker. if you don't like crushed ice, this refrigerator is not for you.

This product gives you all the storage space anyone would need
5 Star Review   By sjpfl on Home Depot - Jan 22, 2013

Although I had a problem with the first unit delivered, the company and Home Depot were very quick to respond with a replacement unit that is working correctly. I have had a samsung refrigerator before, and am looking forward to a long relationship with them and their appliances.

Everything it says it is and should be
5 Star Review   By GolfingGrandma on Home Depot - Jan 15, 2013

I purchased a refrigerator 2 years ago after researching and still found that it wasn't what I expected after using it. For this purchase, I did more research and got this refrigerator recently and absolutely love it! The dual ice makers are great, we go through a lot of ice in our house and always had to keep store bought ice in the freezer but not now! Having 2 separate controls on the in-the-door water & ice dispenser works great, no more getting ice when you wanted water and vice versa. There are many options for the adjustable shelves and the sliding shelf is very convenient so I can add an extra gallon of milk when needed without having to lay it down. The freezer drawer opens and closes easily and I like having the small bin in the front for the smaller and frequently used foods. Lots of pros, have not found any cons.

Big and noisy
3 Star Review   By FLMomof3 on Home Depot - Jan 13, 2013

We have had this refrigerator for about 2 weeks now. I chose it because the configuration fit our space, and it was huge. I also liked the the way the ice and water were set up. When it was delivered and turned on I was thrilled. Big, bright, quiet. I went to the store to pick up groceries and when I got home I heard this loud noise. I was shocked to hear how loud this fridge was. At least 3 times louder then the 13 year old whirlpool we were replacing. I called my husband and said "something is wrong with the new fridge. It's so loud and has not stopped running." After looking online it said the noise is normal. About 51dCB. Though some owners have had much worse. It finally turned off by midnight. Again normal for a new fringe to run continuously until the temperature evens out. The compressor does not run very often, but when it does it is loud! It also makes loud pops and bubbles. Again normal, it is the coolant circulating. I am very happy with all the space inside. It holds a lot! The shelves on the door hold a lot more then you think. I love that you can easily adjust the shelfs for taller items. It makes plenty of ice. However even when it is set to cubed we get a lot of crushed ice, in fact we have never put the controls on crushed and still get it. I like the extra ice bin in the freezer, but it takes up a lot of room, and even if you remove it you can't put anything in it's place because it may damage the ice shoot when you close the door. I think they could of put a little more effort in designing the freezer. It's just a big drawer with a smaller drawer on top. One other thing the largest of the drawer in the top has it's own set of controls for temp. depending on what your storing. I have it set to the coldest for our meats and I don't find that it is any colder in there compare to rest of the refrigerator. If I did over I would probably pick something else. Something quiet!
