Review of 20.53 cu ft Top Freezer model # FFHT2117LW7

This is a larger than average no frills refrigerator-freezer. We added an ice maker which increased the cost by $50, plus $20 to connect it to existing water line. It replaced an 21 year-old unit which was working well but the gaskets were worn and the cost of new gaskets was $160 (for parts). Shipped a Lemon

Accepted delivery 5/2/2013. Immediately noticed a clanking when running. Temp would not get below 42 degrees F. After thermostat was replaced, temp would not get below 50 degrees F. Thermostat was obviously not the problem.

Great little Fridge!

Decent size, easy to set-up, works great so far. I've only had it for a couple of weeks so don't know about energy efficiency. I was able to down size from a 24 cu and even though this one is smaller, I fit everything in without any problem.
