My product had scracthes and marks on it right out of the box
2 Star Review   Home Depot

This grill seems like a very good product, but I was very dissatisfied that it came out the box all scratched up. The scratches were enough to be significant, but not material enough to go through the major hassle of a return. The instructions for putting it together were excellent, but the time spent went into the hours.

Great Grill
4 Star Review   By Bil44107 on Home Depot - Jun 12, 2013

Got this grill a few weeks back and love it. Has lots of parts to put together but it is sturdy and the instructions are good. Will take two people and about an hour. Hookup of the tank was easy and it lit the first time. Heats well and cooks evenly, would highly recommend.

Exactly what I needed
5 Star Review   By Sonia on Home Depot - Jun 12, 2013

After being frustrated for years with a 5-burner monster from Kenmore, this little 2-burner grill is awesome. Weber is known for quality, and the Spirit E-210 doesn't disappoint. It gets hotter than my 5 burner ever did, and grills much more evenly. Bigger isn't always better, and the Spirit E-210 proves it.

Compact BBQ with all the features of a larger grill.
5 Star Review   By slojen2 on Home Depot - Jun 11, 2013

This grill fits our needs perfectly. We have a small patio, and by being able to fold down the shelves, this grill stores nice and compact when not in use. (Why don't all grills have shelves that fold down?) You can grill for up to 10 people, which is plenty for us. We love the grease drainage system too; easy to remove and clean. And the fact that Home Depot will assemble for you is just icing on the cake!

Nice smaller size.
5 Star Review   By MrBarbeque on Home Depot - Jun 4, 2013

I was about to buy a portable grill to save space. Thank Goodness I didn't make that mistake. The hidden gas tank, the large extensions Plus enough grilling space. I purchased a Lodge cast iron grill plate and keep it on over one side of the grill to sear the meat first and to cook food you don't want over the flavor bars because they drip lots of grease and fat.

Well worth it
5 Star Review   By HOOT on Home Depot - May 30, 2013

Bought this to replace an old grill from a major chain store. I was mad at the previous grill from day one because of its cheap design. Not to mention the downtime to fix broken burners and igniters. That was a couple of hundred dollars wasted. For my birthday I bought this Weber and cooked me a huge steak for dinner that night. This grille is fabulous. I will admit $400 scared me at first but the reviews I read here have been true. Excellent size grill without all the clutter add ons I never used anyways. I was also impressed that the sheet metal used in this grille was not the the flimsy weak metal of other grills. There is more metal in the cooking surface than the other grill had all together. Put it together by myself in a couple of hours. They know how to pack their parts from the factory. There is about 30 pounds of cardboard used plus other packing plastics. I am on my second gas cylinder in 30 days time and this grill still amazes me. So impressed I am looking hard at the compact grill they offer to replace my camping grill. Only cons I have is replacing the tank is a bit of a bother for a not so limber guy like me. The wheels are a bit small and the locks not designed for a big work boot to set. Small price to pay for such a great grill.

Great gas grill for the city
5 Star Review   By Stbo on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

This is a great gas grill for those living with limited outdoor space. Fits nicely on our balcony. Was very easy to put together, 1 person could do it - 2 people makes it all that much easier. Compared to our old grill this one gets hotter and uses less gas. Very happy with our purchase and the price is very reasonable. We've only had for 1 month, so can't speak to the durability at this point, but it seems like it will last for a number of years.

Neat little grill!
5 Star Review   By OhioGriller on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

I bought the Weber to replace a 3 year old grill that I had babied a year beyond its true lifespan (it was an expensive hunk of junk). I am an outdoor cooking junkie -- you'll find me outside grilling all winter long (Ohio!). After much research and a great deal of do I or don't I, I decided on this little Weber because I'm tired of spending a fortune on something that just ends up being a throw away grill. I liked the warranty and everything I read about Weber's customer service and the fact that the reviews consistently indicate that this is a high quality, reliable product. Home Depot had one already assembled when I finally decided to take the plunge, so I was able to take it right home. Even though this grill is smaller than the one I'd had before, it was much heavier and is clearly a significantly superior product (first thing you notice is that it doesn't wobble when you touch it like the competitors do). It fired right up...the heat was even...and the food was delicious. The grease pan is easy to access and will be a breeze to keep clean. The drop down shelves and smaller footprint were exactly what I wanted to help maximize room on my porch and boy did they!!! This little guy is very portable, and the wheels lock effortlessly once you get it where you want it. Also, I know that I will realize a cost (and time) savings because I won't go through so much gas. I really appreciate the gas indicator, although it's a little bit of a weird process to hang the tank. The cooking surface is not that much smaller than my old three burner, so I can still grill for a crowd. I am well pleased.

Great Grill
5 Star Review   By Klarkie on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

This is a fantastic product. I have a small patio area and didn't want an oversized monster grill, but wanted a well made and easy to assemble grill. This is it. Plenty of cooking space for a family of 6 and is built solid as a rock. Weber has outdone themselves for making a reasonable sized grill that has all the great features and not fill up my backyard. I LOVE IT

Solid, well-designed, great size
5 Star Review   By linelle707 on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

It was time to replace my old gas grill. I didn't want anything too big and I wanted this to be the last grill I buy. I researched the E-210 and, based on its size and features and the Weber brand, I decided it was my best bet. Although it would have fit into my SUV, it is very heavy for its size, so I opted to order online, have it delivered (free), and assemble it myself. There were no assembling instructions (or user's manual) included, but I was able to find that online and print it out. I should deduct a star for that, but it all worked out. I'm a petite woman and was able to put the grill together on my own with no problem. In fact, I enjoyed that part. All you need is a screwdriver. I've only used the grill twice, but it seems to perform well and cleanup is a breeze.

Best grill I ever purchased
5 Star Review   By TheBeaver on Home Depot - May 26, 2013

Like most I did a lot of online reasearch and was trying to justify the higher cost of a weber. One trip to the store however made the decision easy, i lifted the lid on several cheaper grils and shook the grills and then when I got to the weber the solid feel and heavy build difference was enough to sell me on it, it made the others feel really cheap and rickety. Got one off the floor assembled for free, it looks great, folks at my local home depot were great and included a free propane exchange with the grill for Memorial Day weekend! My only advice: check the grates before leaving the store, mine were in cardboard still and upon getting home and unpacking both had small pieces broke off corners, however I called Weber and the customer service was absolutely amazing, they registered the grill asked for a couple of pictures of the broken grates and sent two new replacements out for free, no questions asked. The customer service alone is enough reason to buy one. Used it memorial day to cook for 9 people, unlike the last 20 years of my life with cheap grills burning food or uneven cooked food, my son and I placed burgers, brats and hot dogs on it, closed the lid, fliped them once a while later and they were done perfectly with no flames or flare ups! I used to char everything in the past with the lid down, this grill made us look like pros with no effort. Of interest is the burner arrangement which allows indirect cooking on the left and right and indirect in the middle with no burner so you can char burgers or steaks on the left and right and cook chicken or brats in the middle over inderect flame. Also, this grill isn't as small as you'd think for a 2 burner, it easily cooked for 9 for us, handled 7 burgers, 6 brats and 3 hot dogs (using warming rack) at one time with some room to spare. However for larger events the three burner is also available for those that need it, but I think for most families of 4 or a small cookout this grill will be more than adequate for most. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time, and I'm very pleased with the quality and the warranty, I can assure if you're considering one, you will be too. Thanks Weber and to the great folks at the Bowling Green KY home depot!

Not Up To Weber Standards
1 Star Review   By NJOldstyle on Home Depot - May 25, 2013

I have owned only Weber grills for years. Just bought readily available parts to rebuild my 15 year old Genesis model and it looks good as new Bought the small Spirit model for my daughter. What a mistake! Even tho the box appeared OK, many parts inside were damaged. Difficult assembly, PLASTIC washers that crack and the sides of the lid are plastic, which was also scraped and cracked. The grates are poor quality and arrived broken. What happened to the solid Weber design? I will never buy another Weber. Overpriced and poorly made

Great product!
5 Star Review   By ronref on Home Depot - May 21, 2013

It took me probably 2-3 hrs to put this grill together and the entire process enabled me to look at each and every part. This grill is high grade quality beginning to end and should last much longer than some of the more expensive Charbroil grills. Even though I haven't even used it yet, I am looking forward to my first experience this weekend.

I wanted something smaller so I can put it in my shed over the winter so the sides folding down were a plus for me. I also put them down when I put the cover on so the cover doesnt get damaged by the corners. Its just me and my husband so we are not feeding a family. I think this would be to small for a family. or someone that has parties alot. my husband had no issues putting it together. so far so good

A great choice!
5 Star Review   By Bigsteelerfan on Home Depot - May 2, 2013

This is a great grill. I recently had a Charbroil which took at least 10 minutes to heat up and was uneven in its heating. With the new Weber Spirit I am at almost 500 degrees in about 2 or 3 minutes and the heat is even. The grill cooks great. Food is quickly seared and very juicy. Assembly is not too bad - allow yourself about 90 minutes to do a good job. You will need 2 people to lift and place the grill hood to avoid damage. Highly recommended. This is my 2nd Weber product.

Great small grill
5 Star Review   By DEB73 on Home Depot - May 1, 2013

This is a very nice grill, had it together in about 1 hour and 45 min. taking my time. I wish i had went with the three burner instead of the two burner, but can't complain this does the job very well. I really like the light button the light the grill, light everytime very easy also like the propane take gauge. I see why Weber is the best grill around.I also got the rotisserie when i got the grill,it also works very well very quite and motor about three time as large as my old one.

Used it once so far, good results
4 Star Review   By Ralph on Home Depot - May 1, 2013

I elected to assemble this myself. I like to wax the nooks and crannies in the lower part to help keep it nice looking longer. Assembly was simple, the directions good. The tank installation is clumsy. Operation was predictable, not that different from my Q100. Cooked a massive pork tenderloin cut into 4 - 3.5 pound pieces for 16 people in 1.25 hours at 1/3rd heat. They were done all the way through, juicy with a nice crust. I am happy with this grill.

American Quality Equals Excellent Grilling
5 Star Review   By Todd on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2013

You can tell this is a quality piece of equipment based on how it's packed. All the parts are wrapped neatly and they are very sturdy. Setup took about 1-2 hours and just used a phillips head screwdriver and a 7/16 socket. It is helpful at times to have a second hand, but installation could be done by one person if need be. For me this was a great upgrade from a 10 year old CharBroil propane grill that got taken out in a windstorm. Looking at prices, it SEEMS like you get a lot less when you compare Weber grills to other brands, but let me tell you...I've only used the grill once so far, and I am head over heels happy with price vs. value. I didn't need all those extra burners that I used once in a great while. And the build quality of the Weber grill is much better than anything else I've ever had. I love the fold down shelves, and not having a side burner that I never used and having to balance a tray of food on top of it. Having the propane tank stored underneath the grill in a cabinet is also a great feature. You hang the tank on a weight system that tells you how much propane is left, which is nice for not having to guess. It's a little tricky to hold a full tank underneath the grill to get it on the hanger, but luckily that doesn't need to be done often. (PS: no tank is included in the purchase, but that's easily remedied.) The grates are not coated, so you do have to make sure to oil them up before you cook. I am not sure if I miss that feature yet or not, but after my first grilling session, it didn't seem to matter to me. It will just take some getting used to.

Purchased this grill on a Sunday at the Olathe store. The place was packed with people but I was able to get prompt and helpful service. The grill was assembled at no extra cost versus unassembled. I loaded it up an took it home. I cooked steaks that evening. The grill performed very well. Happy with my purchase and the service at the Olathe store.

No reason not to buy this grill
5 Star Review   By mini14gb on Home Depot - Apr 25, 2013

I bought this grill on 19 April 2013 and I've used it every night since I bought it. Its spring time in Montana so grilling took place in temperature as low as 28 degrees and as high as 71 degrees and the grill had plenty of heat. I cooked larger spreads (10 Breasts) of chicken down to 1 individual steak for myself and heat was perfect and very even over the entire surface. I can't tell you how nice that is compared to the old cheap grills I have had in the past where you have to learn the grilling surface and rotate your food constantly. My Dad always had Weber grills and now I know why! I'm sure this grill will last a good long time but if it has trouble it appears Weber is quick to provide service.

5 Star Review   By Maggie on Home Depot - Apr 16, 2013

We live in NYC and have an outdoor patio off our small kitchen. My husband and I felt that we really needed a extension to our kitchen, since the stove top and oven is so small. We have used it several times and are so thrilled with the size and the quality of the grill. Very happy with our purchase :) It does require a overwhelming amount of assembly, but my dad and brother in law came over to help and it was together within 2 hours.

Excellent performance

Grill heats to cooking temp quickly and evenly cooks fish, meat, etc. Glad I purchased online as it was delivered as promised and was easy to put together (my son assembled)

easy to assemble and use
5 Star Review   By domestiquette on Home Depot - Apr 9, 2013

Was able to check this out in-store, then have it delivered to my home for free by ordering it on line. Saved me the hassle of hauling the 120lb box into and out of my car. Assembly was pretty straight-forward, and it works as expected.

Solid feel, parts are high quality
5 Star Review   By Spice on Home Depot - Apr 8, 2013

Disclaimer: I bought and built this yesterday, and have only used the grill once. Still - I researched this grill and its 3 or 4 competitors (most closely the Charbroil Infrared for $269) - I simply couldn't get past the infrared cooking piece - for every one review you read that gushes, you seem to read another two who don't care for the product. Thus, the Spirit 210. Other quick notes - you get the grill in the box, and that's it - you need to buy a cover separately ($50), and it doesn't come w/ any tools either. Set up was so simple, even for a guy who sits at a desk all day. From a taped up box to firing it up for the first time was about 1.5 hours total, though I took way too much time ensuring that I had all needed parts before beginning construction. Instructions are pretty turn-key as well, however, they are pictures only, there's no words or helpful hints included (though realistically you don't need them). One of the things that impressed me right off the bat was how well everything fit during the construction, and the integrity and feel of the parts - while I realized I was paying top dollar for this two burner that isn't the biggest grill available for the money, you get what you pay for in terms of the quality - this is a Lexus of smaller sized grills, you're not buying a Saturn here. On the other hand, the overall cooking space on the grates was larger than I had anticipated once the rubber hit the road and we actually started cooking. It fired up instantly (on full power only took about 5 mins to heat up to 450 or so) after it was fully assembled and we did chicken breasts, pineapple, and bell peppers - they all came off excellent. Needless to say, the real test here will be a question of longevity as to whether it was worth the extra money to go Weber, but I will say this - I have yet to run into someone who was disappointed as a Weber customer. Overall - I'm happy, but happiness isn't cheap when it comes to Weber grills.

Convenient and High Quality
4 Star Review   By Rieale on Home Depot - Apr 8, 2013

After seeing grill after grill with side burners, a billion BTUs and smoker attachments, the Spirit was a breath of fresh air. We didn't want all the gadgets and doodads - just a well-constructed grill that would heat evenly and effectively that was easy to move. This Webber did that and more. We were impressed by the warranty, ease of assembly (though it did still take 2 hours) and appearance; however, we were bowled over by the amount of food we could cook (4 large chicken breasts, a huge foil packet of veggies and several skewers of mushrooms) and how perfectly this grill cooks. I didn't think we could touch a Weber for under $600 so this was a pleasant surprise.

Great product. Arrived on time. Great instructions, easy assembly
5 Star Review   By HandyMom on Home Depot - Apr 2, 2013

Easy, breezy. Free shipping and it arrived just as expected in great condition. Very detailed instructions, no missing hardware or assembly headaches ( like many other manufacturers!) easy to assemble by myself and I am a petite woman. Would buy again and recommend to others. Great job Weber and Home Depot.

So far, so good.
5 Star Review   By dgreen on Home Depot - Mar 31, 2013

My father-in-law put this thing together in less than an hour and a half and he only swore twice. The directions were only slightly annoying and dinner was amazing. So far, so good! I am in love with my new grill on the first use. Stay tuned.

Love my weber
5 Star Review   By FLGal on Home Depot - Mar 31, 2013

I bought the grill after being told it would not get as hot with only two burners, but it out cooked any three burner grill I ever had. My friend who is an avid outdoor man and grills daily, said it was the best grill he had ever seen for being small. It fits perfect on my little deck and I can see many meals being fixed on that little two burner grill. Did I say how much I love it? Lots!!

Quality Built Grill
5 Star Review   By ed493 on Home Depot - Mar 23, 2013

The Weber grill took 2 hours to assemble, with all the parts clearly marked. We based our purchase on the great reviews. Our last 2 grills, Uniflame, barely lasted 2 years, with proper care, before the interior parts rusted out, so we decided to buy a Weber. Their warranty is much longer than our previous grills. We were happy to discover 2 drip pans, and a propane gauge to check the propane level. Although we wanted an american made product, we are happy with this purchase. You have the option of having the fold down sides, or installing another bolt which would make the sides fixed. This grill is smaller but heavier than our last grill, and better quality. We have just grilled our first meal, and the grill heated up fast and cooked the meat perfectly. I would recommend this grill to others.

Nice size, two burners
5 Star Review   By DonChicago on Home Depot - Mar 7, 2013

I am a single dad with 3 kids who come to visit on weekends. This thing is great for just me, or the entire family. I had a Genesis for 15 years prior. Genesis grills have 3 burners running from side to side. Using just the back and front, you get a nice center indirect zone. This grill has a left and right front to back burners. Indirect is only really possible by using one burner, but does not work quite as well as the genesis. I will also warn that the front panel & knobs, plus the folding sides get very splattered with grease when the lid is open. Despite the few negatives, its a great grill. Takes up very little space, nice casters to move it around on the patio, and I suspect it will last a decade and beyond like the Genesis I had before it. One side of the grill was damaged when shipped, but Weber sent me a replacement overnight. Fantastic customer service.

Great Grill!
5 Star Review   By Susan on Home Depot - Feb 12, 2013

The grill came on time and without damage. It was not hard to assemble, and works quite well. It is nice to cook on a grill with all burners working! It seems to be of excellent quality, and I expect it to last longer than our Charbroil. I know that I had to pay for the name, but there seems to be no middle ground when it comes to grills.

Perfect patio grill
5 Star Review   By DFRANKYGIRL on Home Depot - Feb 12, 2013

Got this for my husband for Christmas. We recently downsized to a small apartment with a small patio. He LOVES this BBQ. Says it is the perfect size for the two of us. Even heating, ready to go instantly. Our old grill had a side burner that never got used. This is great that you can put the side shelves down for more room. Every time he uses it (which is several times a week), he tells me how happy he is with the grill!

Just right for a small patio
5 Star Review   By BRE201 on Home Depot - Jan 30, 2013

In an apartment complex with tiny patio spaces and a propane-only BBQ policy. This grill is perfect for this application. Compact yet robust. Has a feeling of solidarity and precision. I'm a Weber fan and this confirms it.

Couldn't be happier...
5 Star Review   By FLGrandma on Home Depot - Jan 29, 2013

I put this grill together by myself in two hours. I was originally hesitant about the "pictures only" directions, but it was a breeze. The packaging of the screws and hardware was clearly marked for each step and I had no problem at all! The grill heats to 450 in about 15 minutes and is just right for 2-4 peoples worth of food. It's sturdy and compact, too, much nicer than grills that take up half the deck. Great value for the price.

Compact, Heats Fast, Light & Easy to Move
4 Star Review   By SmyrnaRetiree on Home Depot - Jan 7, 2013

We bought this grill to replace a Genesis Silver A from 2003 which hadn't been heating properly. (Found out later we could have repaired the Genesis by replacing the hose & regulator for less than $20 - Weber has excellent customer service!). This grill weighs much less than the Genesis, including the shroud so we feared it wouldn't hold the heat as well. But the shroud seems to be a double layer and heats very quickly and holds the heat fine all while weighing much less. The folding side tables look pretty in the photos with their shiny stainless, but are very light and not as sturdy as the heavy plastic ones on the Genesis. However they are sturdy enough any reasonable full platters. The ignighter is battery operated rather than piezo-electric, but it operates very smoothly and changing the single AA battery looks easy. The lighter weight and having the side tables fold down very easily makes this grill very easy to store and roll about. The assembly instructions were all pictures but had sufficient circles and arrows that I had little trouble assembling it on New Year's Eve.

Perfect Size
4 Star Review   By grillhack on Home Depot - Jan 6, 2013

I had a large CharBroil grill and it rusted out after 4 years, even with a cover. I was looking for a smaller grill since there are only 3 of us. The Weber Spirit is a 2 burner grill that that is very well built and has the perfect amount of grilling space. I like the size as I can push it into the corner of the deck with the shelves folded down and it takes very little space. I ordered it online and put it together in about 2 hours. I used it for the first time and the temperature was perfect and the burgers came out perfectly seared.

5 Star Review   By Penny on Home Depot - Dec 31, 2012

It got hot quickly to 500 degrees. Great for searing and then was able to turn down to cook evenly. The cast iron grates are great and easy clean up design is appreciated.

High Quality, Great First Experience
5 Star Review   Home Depot

My 2013 Spirit E-210 was delivered today, so right after work, I spent an hour and a half assembling it. The grill is very high quality. All of the components are very solid, and although my box didn't have the assembly instructions, I downloaded them off the Weber website, printed them, and got to work. I had a previous Spirit (2011 model) with the fixed side shelves that I sold when I moved. I REALLY like the folding side shelves and the smaller footprint of the E-210. It's the perfect size for 1-3 people. I just finished dining on some grilled chicken thighs that were perfect. This grill cooks much more evenly than my previous Spirit. Zero flare-ups on medium and low heat. Highly recommended!

I'm Excited!
5 Star Review   By Ellen on Home Depot - Dec 20, 2012

I bought this grill for my daughter for Christmas. Have not given it to her yet but I know she will love it. I searched and searched for a grill and I believe I picked just the right one. Great size, easy to move. Not a lot of extras that she won't use! I'll review again after she gets it.

Great little grill!
5 Star Review   By cdennyaz on Home Depot - Nov 22, 2012

I'm glad I decided to go with this grill. Its well built and should last with proper care and maintenance. Perfect for small groups (6-8 people). I was a little concerned about the BTU's (26,500) I didn't think it would get hot enough but with a 15-20 min preheat the grill reaches 520 degree F. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend this grill =]

Great Compact Grill
5 Star Review   By BRKARA on Home Depot - Oct 30, 2012

My boyfriend and I both really liked the look and size of this grill when we saw it at HD. We were tired at looking at huge grills, that were hard to move, and that had features we would never use. This is perfect for people who want a simple yet super functional grill. We love it. Please note - if you are wanting to purchase the Weber Spirit E-210 model where the sides don't fold down - you need to order model #4411001.
