Good enough
3 Star Review   By BillV on Home Depot - Jun 18, 2013

Since I live in a townhome, I had to switch from Charcoal to natural gas so I might be a bit biased. It is a Weber grill, and it's sturdy, nice-looking, and completely functional. The fold-down tables are great if you're tight on space and they easily life and retract as needed. My biggest problem is that the burners don't get as hot as I would like them to. Maybe I'm just used to a blazing hot charcoal fire, but it's a big change for me. I use wood chips in a foil pan to add a little flavor to the food and that's been working ok, but there's nothing like charcoal. All in all, I've lost a little bit of passion for grilling due to the switch, but it cooks well, heats up to about 500 degrees with the lid closed, and does the job.

Compact size, but big performance
5 Star Review   By mclancy on Home Depot - Jun 16, 2013

A high quality and sturdy grill. We got the 2 burner NG version as we had an existing gas hook up. The 2 burner size might be too small for a larger family, but for a couple it is plenty. The electric starter is a big improvement to the older style push buttons. I will be interesting to see if that is more durable over time than the push buttons which seem to not last very long. Heats up quickly and seems to be very even cooking temps. I like the flatness of the cast iron grill, but the only down side is the gaps are larger than I was used to so I have dropped some veggies in between the cracks before I started to use a grill pan for those. Very happy with this choice.

Excellent grill with smaller footprint
5 Star Review   By Taunton02780 on Home Depot - Jun 4, 2013

Needed a new replacement grill for my aging (larger) Weber. This grill is perfect - everything you need (small footprint but large grilling surface) and nothing you don't (a third zone or useless side burner). I've used it direct grilling (steaks, burgers, chicking) as well as indirect (ribs - lighting one side while cooking on the other). I love it ... it is very expensive (compared to other brand of the same size and features) but hey, it's a Weber (and you get what you pay for).

The best BBQ Ever!
5 Star Review   By Oceanlucky9 on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

As my first natural gas BBQ I really don't have anything to compare it to but I can say this is the best BBQ I have ever had. I had Home Depot assemble it and they did a great job. The iron grates are the best and the starter and temperature control is great. The casters are solid and with no propane tank below it has lost of storage below. Oh and the fold out shelves are sturdy and perfect to fold down and store this BBQ on my small patio!

Easy to assemble and works great.
5 Star Review   By slick50 on Home Depot - May 28, 2013

Love the fold out side trays. They make it much easier to cover the grill after use. None of the grills or burner covers bolt down, which makes removing them for cleaning a breeze.

Top heavy pile of parts
1 Star Review   By unhappy on Home Depot - May 25, 2013

I have not used the grill yet. But getting it assembled was horrific - had to hire a specialist - it was just a big pile of parts. Once it was together, the connector parts had to be found and purchased. Now it is very top heavy and unsteady - like a piece of junk. It was apparently made for a big propane tank but is converted to natural gas. So, bought a small heavy umbrella stand, put it in bottom cabinet. BTW no shelf in bottom cabinet. Very expensive to get all this done and installed.

Great Grill
5 Star Review   By bmsd on Home Depot - May 21, 2013

I love this grill. Fits nicely on our deck. Doesn't flareup on the food and really like that we are finally using our natural gas instead of a propane tank.

Superb Grill
5 Star Review   By TTSLC on Home Depot - May 17, 2013

Fifteen years ago I tired of dealing with a charcoal grill and decided to give a gas grill a try. I bought a lava rock two burner model that was on sale. My thought was that if I liked gas then I would just replace this inexpensive grill when it burns out with a good quality one. The gas grill had a lot of advantages over charcoal so I stuck with it. Too bad for me I spent 15 years maneuvering food around and going through all kinds of gymnastics trying to cook food on such and uneven heating slow preheating unpredictable grill. My new Weber grill heats up quickly cooks evenly and very predictably. There is no need to rotate the food just turn it over. My model is a two burner which I was afraid might not heat evenly or cook well on a single burner. I cook for one quite a lot. Preheating with both burners and then cooking on one burner with the other one on low works out very well. With the old grill it was impossible to cook pork ribs that were done in the thicker parts and not over done everywhere else. The same rack of ribs was always over done and underdone. With the Weber the ribs come out prefect. The same is true for steaks and kabobs. Salmon steaks have been easy to cook to perfection on the Weber. The Weber rotisserie attachment I bought with the grill is well made. The skewer is heavy stainless steel as are the forks. Everything fits and works very well. My first roast was a bit small and came out over done, my error no doubt. With a bit more experience I know I am going to live the rotisserie. I opted for a natural gas model hoping it would be cheaper to operate than a propane model. The jury is still out on the expense aspect but the convenience of not having to deal with propane bottles is great. At 64 years of age, no doubt my heirs are going to be enjoying the last years of the fine Weber grill I bought while I’m pushing up daisies. My only regret is I wasted 15 years farting around with a cheap crummy grill. I should have bitten the bullet and bought a Weber to start with.

Excellent grill! Quality product for a reasonable price.
5 Star Review   By DGWEH on Home Depot - May 16, 2013

This is a very reasonable priced grill - especially for a natural gas grill which are very overpriced in many stores. There is a lot of assembly required, but the directions and illustrations are very clear and not confusing at all. This grill is sturdy, but also attractive and looks nice on the porch. The grill heats up very evenly and the first meal I cooked on it was outstanding. Very satisfied with this purchase!

very solid grill...would highly recommend for a smaller family that didn't want to hassle with propane gas bottles... like the smaller cooking surface for only the wife and I.

Spirit 2000 Natural gas grill
4 Star Review   By HarveyNE on Home Depot - Mar 12, 2013

I haved assembled the grill but have not used it yet. I was somewhat disappointed that the entire grill stand was not stainless steel as we live in an area that has heavy ocean salt air and I could not determine that looking at pictures of the grill online. Also the price of the natural gass grill seems excessive to the same grill with propane gas.

Great product for the price
5 Star Review   By DrTed on Home Depot - Mar 5, 2013

My old Weber finally died after decades of faithful service. It's new replacement is shinier, sleeker, lighter, and just the right size for the average man griller. I had to assemble mine, but the instructions were clear and required no skills beyond screwing screws and nutting bolts. Fired right up and produced a juicy, delicious meal right out of the box.

Cheap made in China parts- not what I expected in a Weber Grill
2 Star Review   By bbww on Home Depot - Jan 8, 2013

This grill is just ok- Not worth it for the money- If I had to purchase again I would buy one up- (genisis) We wanted a small grill so the size was great. Most of this Grill was made in China and a bolts snapped off from the sheet metal - Home Depot customer service was good and sending a new part. It was not to bad to assemble and I am sure we will enjoy it- Wheels well

This an excellent basic grill with very good assembly instructions.
4 Star Review   By domC on Home Depot - Jan 5, 2013

We were looking for a basic NG grill and this grill fits the bill. The assembly instructions were very good and no pats were missing. I would have rated the quality excellent but a couple of the parts were bent (not from shipping or due to packaging). I was able to straighten the them. Their location was such that the repairs are not visible so they were not returned.
