3.5 Star Review  productwiki.com - May 18, 2011

The Weber Genesis S-320 is a gas grill constructed from an enclosed cart with stainless steel doors, stainless steel handles, and a stainless steel shroud. An upgrade from the E-310 and S-310, the Genesis S-320 not only includes 3 stainless burners that burn at 42,000 BTU per hour, but it also features an input flush-mounted side burner that burns at 12,000 BTU per hour. In all other way, however, the Genesis S-320 is exactly the same as its predecessor. For instance, the Genesis S-320 also houses a 637 square inch cooking area including a 507 sq. in. primary cooking area and a 130 sq. in. warming-rack. Like its peer, the Genesis S-320 includes a Crossover ignition system that lights the entire grill with the push of one button, not to mention a Flavorizer bar that eliminates grease-fueled glare-ups by vaporizing fat and juices as soon as they hit the bars. The ... PROS: (1) Included assembly instructions are easy to follow. (2) Tank weight hanger allows you to see propane levels at a glance. (3) Cooks very evenly and efficiently. (4) Sturdily built--stainless steel components, welded box frame. (5) Heats up very quickly--about 3-5 minutes from cold to 400 degrees. ... CONS: (1) The right side platform has very little workable space due to lots of large control knobs. (2) BTU output rating is lower than other grills in the same price range.

GREAT grill for the $$$
5 Star Review   By crazy4worldseries on Home Depot - Mar 31, 2011

I had a Ducane grill for 15 years and it was supposedly the first and last grill that I would ever have to buy. Hey - I got 15 years out of it so I feel I got my moneys worth. Now comes the time to buy a new grill. I looked at Weber grills all last year and waited for closeouts on the 2010 model year. Home Depot had the BEST price around with free shipping if purchased on line. SUPER deal! The grill itself is AWESOME. Sleek lines, stainless steel everything! This is a grill that is built to last and will definitely serve my family of six well! Don't have much use for the side burner, and I had to go out and buy a cover for $50 bucks, but I am a fanatic about keeping stuff nice. With a name like Weber and parts readily available, along with superior customer service from Weber, I believe this is the LAST grill I will have to purchase for quite some time.

All that and then some
5 Star Review   By BigPhil on Home Depot - Mar 26, 2011

I recently bought the 2010 E-320 model in black. The price drop convinced me as I did my reviews on many grills of all brands and options. I had a 5 burner Perfect Flame prior to this and loved it untill the burner rotted out and made it unfixable. I had a Weber genesis B prior to that and I was happy with it until a storm took it for a ride and broke the lid off whe it landed. I had to convince my wife because $600 is steep for a grill so hopefully Weber will do me right with this one for alongtime. I love it so far. First time I started it up it hit 500 degrees within 5 minutes.

Great Choice
5 Star Review   By Rico2010 on Home Depot - Feb 25, 2011

The Genesis 320 Natural Gas is probably the best grill I have ever bought. Putting it together was a breeze with easy to read instructions. It took a couple of hours and I was cooking on it. Heat distribution to this point seems very equitable. The curb side and free delivery were a plus.

AWESOME
5 Star Review   By HEL13 on Home Depot - Oct 26, 2010

I bought the natural gas version to replace a larger, but inferior quality, 6 burner Kenmore grill. I have had the Webber for over a month now and It has preformed flawlessly. I grill at least 3 to 4 times per week. It heats up very quickly and grills to perfection. The stainless steel cooking grates maintain the heat well and are easy to clean with the webber grill brush (not included). The flavorizor bars work great at keeping down any unwanted flare ups. The drip tray is 2 part system which drips into a small, easily removable aluminum pan, that is easy to clean and/or replace. It also has a great warranty (5 yrs on grates and flavorizor bars, 10 yrs on burners, 25 yrs on stainless steel shroud). I highly recommend this grill for someone that is serious about grilling, wants a quality product backed by a company with an excellent warranty/customer service all while not over paying. I would definitely recommend the Webber Grill Out Handle Light (Model #7516) if you do any night cooking as well as the Webber grill cover.

Very Pleased
5 Star Review   By dajparker on Home Depot - Oct 25, 2010

Product arrived quickly and without any damage to unit. Assembly took about 2 hours and I was able to do it without help although they recommend two people are needed. I'll agree with an earlier review about the installation instructions - they could be better. I also got burned by using the wrong screws from time to time (black vs silver). Some text might have helped warn about that. Otherwise, the assembly wasn't very difficult. Once assembled, I found it to be very sturdy. It performs very well! Heats up relatively quickly and gets HOT! Stays lit even in windy conditions. Easy to light - let's hope that lasts. Overall, very pleased with the purchase. No regrets. The Weber cover is also very nice. It has straps that cinch under the side shelves, keeping the cover from blowing off.

Looks great (from a distance) and cooks well
4 Star Review   By JeremyG on Home Depot - Sep 7, 2010

First off, let me state for the record that I have owned more grills in the past 8 years than most people will ever own in a lifetime. I am known by my friends as the "grill master" so please don't take this review lightly. Let's start with build quality or some lack there of it. The reason I spent $927 (with tax) on this grill was because it and all of the current Weber Genesis grills are by far the sturdiest built grills you will find in the major home improvement chains, however, it isn't perfect by any means. My issues with build quality are as follows; one of the side panels was bent (not a handling issue for sure), when I went to lift the stainless grill lid open to take all of the parts out that are packed inside, the pin had fallen out because they don't put the clips on the hinge pins from the factory) and the lid dropped down immediately bending the back lip (not pretty) and the bottom of the back panel was bent outward on both corners (again not a handling issue). Check your pins before you lift the lid for the first time! The sides panels, doors, bottom frame and wheels are rather poor quality for a $900 grill. In-fact as you are putting it together you WILL question why you spent $900 on this grill (not like a $150 grill but you will still question the fact that the panels and frame are so flimsy). The top end however (besides the bent lip on the back of the lid) is all about business. The side shelf, side burner, burner knobs, ignitor, grill grates, the huge front handle and the very nice built in thermometer are great! The battery powered ignition is an excellent addition to this grill too! How does it perform? Well, it works like a Weber should! The ignitor lights the burners instantly, heats this beast up to near 700 degrees if you keep it on high for about a half hour, cooks meat like it should (pretty even heat) and cleans up very easy (solid stainless steel grates) and best of all, you don't need to ever get a propane tank refilled again! The grill looks as good as many costing more than double (another reason I didn't hesitate to spend $900). The outside cleans up pretty easy but be cautious of setting items on the side trays as they do scratch easily. I had originally set out to buy the copper Genesis in the propane model but after a little research figured out that after I spent $700 + tax + $110 for a natural gas conversion, and another $120 for the solid stainless grates, that I would be way over the cost of buying the better looking stainless model with those additional features as standard so it was a no-brainer. While my take on build quality may deter you, don't let that be the determining factor in buying this grill or not. It is still one of the best grills for the money, especially since the natural gas model is only $20 more. I had 2 older model Genesis grills before this and I also own a Weber Performer charcoal grill (best charcoal grill I have ever owned) and I can say without a doubt that they hold up better than anything else in the price range. One more quick note. The instructions for assembly are TERRIBLE, I'm talking Ikea terrible! Look very closely at screw sizes and colors before you assemble anything because it is almost all pictures with no reference to the size of fastener. I assembled the whole grill by myself in about an hour and 45 minutes. You will need help moving the box and possibly lifting the bottom of the grill/burner assembly into place but most assembly can be done by one person. Happy grilling!

I have owned several BBQs and bought this one to be around for at least 15 years. After spending about 2 hours putting it together, I was very happy with the final product. I bought the natural gas model and talk about easy to use, tap the igniter and your off in a second. fire up all 3 burners and it is warmed up before you can get the steaks out of the wrapper. you can throw your steaks anywhere on the grill and get great even cooking. The drip pans are great for keeping your investment clean, and with the stainless steel model cleanup is a breeze! if you have an IPhone, get the Weber app for $5 its worth every penny. It gives you cooking times for all foods by thickness, a timer, a grocery list and some great recipes.

Excellent Grill needs assembly
4 Star Review   By nukedoc on Home Depot - Jul 10, 2010

This product does not come assembled. There are lots of parts to put together and you really need to read the directions. It takes a couple of hours to put this together. Once assembled you get your reward. Excellent grill. Ignites easy, stays lit in even in the wind. Since this is a natural gas model you don't have to worry about propane tanks. The side burner is excellent. Grilled steak is wonderful. Seared on the outside pink on the inside. Cooks quickly. I really feel like a got my reward for the assembly. If you are not too handy get someone else to help assemble it.

WOW!! What a grill!
5 Star Review   By RaymondLLC on Home Depot - May 21, 2010

This grill is everything everyone who has owned one, says it is. The stainless steel model is definitely worth the extra money because this grill will last a very long time. There is just no comparison between a Weber grill and all the others. Superior quality, period! Weber's customer service is outstanding. I had to call to register my grill and just mentioned that the lid had some very mninor surface discoloration on the bottom edge of the right side. Before I was even done talking, the customer service rep was sending me a new lid and set up the return of the original one at absolutely no cost to me. I was not even asking for that. I was completely awestruck. The Weber company, its products and its service is a big five star plus operation.

Melted Weber s320 BBQ
1 Star Review   By member DianneHH - Jan 3, 2010

Strengths: Pretty to look at.

Weakness: It melts!

Purchased this BBQ in August of 2008 at Home Depot, in late September of 2009, started up the BBQ, with three foil wrapped potatoes on it, left it for 10 minutes to heat up, came back to see the whole BBQ engulfed in flames. The bottom portion of the firebox melted, causing the gas tubing to drop down into the storage cart, completely destroying it! It's a nice looking BBQ but that's about all it has going for it. The grade of stainless steel is very low and the firebox casting is very thin, which is why ours melted. Onward Manufacturing Company Ltd. is the distributor of Weber products in Canada and has done nothing to rectify this issue. After I told them that they need to send someone out to look at this BBQ, they finally sent out 'BBQ' Naz Cavallaro, to our home, who they claim to be a Grilling Expert/Spokesperson for Weber-Stephen Products Co. He's a cook, not an engineer. After looking at the BBQ, Naz said "I will be recommending that the BBQ be replaced", and also said that he would send us some steaks. Since Naz's visit I was told by Karen Cross (Manager of Customer Services) at Onward, that they don't replace BBQ's, just parts. Karen also said that Onward would like to get the burned out unit so their engineers could look at it. I told Karen they could take the burned out unit if it's replaced with a new one, but she refused to do this. Karen also said that since our BBQ is out of warranty they are not going to do anything but offered to work out a deal with a local retailer to sell us another BBQ at a reduced price. We haven't received the steaks BBQ Naz offered to send us either! So, in the mean time I've contacted the CSA (Canadian Standards Association), who have started an investigation.

Weber Gas Grill S320
4 Star Review

Strengths: Will meet all your gas grill needs period. Made very well with quality construction. weight scale works very well to determine when to change out bottle with LP gas type.

Weakness: Casters will not roll on even very low grass surface, side burner will not turn down very low. Would prefer burner control knobs in front mount so side shelf could be used.

The strengths of this grill far out weigh the weakneesses. For the money this is one of the finest gas grills on the market. Yet there is still room for improvements. For natural gas users the caster problem should not be a issue.

S320 NG Weber Grill Get One its Great
5 Star Review   By member Jess2883 - Feb 7, 2009

Strengths: Easy to use and only took about 1.5 hrs to put together

Weakness: Only had it for 3 weeks but so far its great

If your thinking about a new grill consider the Weber S320 NG grill. I love the way it cooks evenly. I Had a weber Genises for 10 year befor getting this one. You can spend az lot more more for a grill but not sure you will have better results that with this GEM.

Weber Genesis S320 Grill
5 Star Review   By member yuleb2 - Feb 10, 2008

Strengths: Stainless steel construction and materials, heavy duty double wall lid, simple design with three burner system, ample cooking area and storage cabinet, roller caster locking wheels, temperature gauge.

Weakness: No table space if using the side burner.

I was skeptical at first about this grill but now that I have it and use it regularly, I really enjoy cooking on this grill. The 3 burner design gives me an array of cooking temperature on the grills surface. I can get the surface hot enough to sear the meat and give me the grilling marks for appearance or I can turn the temperature way down for a slow cook and smoking effect. Even though there is no separate burner for a rotisserie, you can easily use the main burners because of the burners side to side design which runs the same way as your rotisserie spit and rod. By turning off the middle burner when using the rotisserie you avoid flare ups directly under your meat. The design of this grill gives you everything you need in one simple package. You don't need all the additional burners you think you would need to give you the options needed for cooking. Because it's simple, the cost of having a nice grill is more affordable. It's also a handsome unit and not gaudy to look at. Good job Weber!
