High Quality Product, as advertised
5 Star Review   By Phil on Home Depot - Jun 11, 2013

This Weber Grill was shipped directly to me and had more features than I realized, such as the searing burner and electric (battery) starter. I got all stainless steel model as my previous Weber had its paint flake and peel after a few years. Having to assemble the grill caused me to really appreciate the quality and workmanship. I was able to assemble in a few hours with very basic instructions. Looked great, worked great and no left over parts! The grill comes without a tank, so that must be purchased separately - tanks did not seem to be sold at Home Depot, but there are several other places that sell them. The grill works very well, fires up and heats quickly. It takes some practice to figure out pre-heating and ideal cooking temperatures - it would have been nice if Weber had included some tips or expectations of use. Still haven't quite figured out the searing station.

Instantly upgrade your grill skills!
5 Star Review   By valveater on Home Depot - Jun 6, 2013

I spent about a decade struggling to get good results from a cheap entry-level gas grill. After years of frustration watching quality cuts of meat quickly reduced to dry charred remnants that family refused to eat, I finally decided to upgrade, and the results are incredible. This grill is simply amazing! Burgers, chops and steaks come out tender and juicy, and the flavorizer bars minimize flare-ups which used to ruin almost everything I cooked on my old grill. Now my family can't wait for me to grill and I finally enjoy doing it. The side burner is a nice addition and comes in handy when you're prepping a full meal. The stainless steel looks great and is easy to clean, so it is definitely worth the extra money. Assembly of the grill was pretty straightforward, but time-consuming due to the number of parts. I would recommend purchasing this grill pre-assembled if possible. Once it's up and running, you will definitely love this grill!

Stainless grates really do the trick. No more porcelain for me.Cleans up nicely after seasoning the box too. Use the professional food grade stainless cleaner for best results. Fit and finish implies I should not have to worry for the next 15 years.

Worh every penny.
5 Star Review   By Josh on Home Depot - Jun 4, 2013

This is a great grill. There is a reason Webers are more expensive than other grills. The are better than other grills. Its very sturdy and the stainless looks great. It cooks evenly, doesn't flare up, and with the side burner it gives you a ton of cooking space. BBQ'ed for 50 people without issue the first weekend I had it. Its expensive and assembly was a little time consuming, but totally worth it.

the shrink wrap does not come off!!
1 Star Review   By rw100 on Home Depot - May 23, 2013

the finish looks horrible after you spend the better part of 2 hours trying to get the stupid shrink wrap on the grill meant to protect the stainless steel finish!! Never seen aything so absurd, it's like they took a blow torch to the plastic as it is molded to the grill. I spend a $1000, you'd expect a little more from that! And don't bother calling Weber, they were useless, basically telling you it's your problem and you need to spend more time trying to get it off w/o ruining the finish! Never again!

You get hat you pay for
5 Star Review   By mtsoxfan on Home Depot - May 21, 2013

I've owned a Weber before, but it was a lesser model. That is what sold me on this one. The lesser model lasted 12 years, outside, covered, with no issues. I purchased another brand, like most grills out there, it was a disposable. A marriage got me using another major brand. Never liked it, and only lasted 5 years before it rusted out so bad, I decided to go back to a Weber. This is to be the last grill I buy until at least I retire. The stainless looks of quality material. Very heavy duty. The grate is stainless as well as the flavorizer bars. 10 year warrentee on the burners, they build quality and back it up. I have used this about 8 times so far. The sear burner rocks.... the burners have minor hot spots, unlike others that have a big difference. Weber has changed the direction of the burners, from right to left, over to front to back. While I liked the old style, the front to back gives better indirect heat. Granted, the price I paid for a grill is a lot. It took me a while to pull the trigger. But my wife says, I work hard, why not splurge on yourself. I am so pleased I did. Very even heat, it actually gets above 700*, could even get hotter Im sure. Indirect heat cooking is great as well. No real flare ups to speak of. Yes, when the fat on a steak hits the flavorier bars, it does ignite. but it rolls off and flames are in control. Clean up is easy as well. I get great grill marks with round stainless grate, unlike many others that have wide grates bars... that just doesnt put tradition grill marks on. I see this grill as an investment. The only reason I give value a good, is it would take over 10 years of problem free use to give it a great. I expect that though..... its a Weber.

Best Grills on Earth!
5 Star Review   Home Depot

Easy to assemble, easy to use, and makes me look like a pro. Was an upgrade from my 3 year old Weber Q-220 and cooks SO much better, easier to clean, plus has a sear station. This thing is gorgeous and so well built. Makes cooking fun again! Only gripe is that everything is written everywhere in three different languages...makes the simple "OFF, High, Low" dials look silly.

A Strong Option
5 Star Review   By Vedomano on Home Depot - May 8, 2013

I have used this grill three times so far and have nothing but good things to say. Hamburgers, chicken, and salmon have never tasted better. The grill is fast to heat up, and maintains a consistent temperature profile. I have always used Weber and this grill did not disappoint. It's also easy to use.

A Nice Grill
4 Star Review   By MGSE on Home Depot - May 8, 2013

The grill was easy to assemble. All the pieces fit together nicely (no confusion or needing to force anything). Also the instructions were easy to follow. The grill itself has done a nice job of grilling salmon, corn on the cob, and bratwurst. Looking forward to getting it dialed in.

Quality BBQ
5 Star Review   By Dakota on Home Depot - May 7, 2013

Very impressed with the over-all quality of this BBQ. You get what you pay for. My main concern was putting the thing together after it arrived! Directions are a little dicey... it took us about 3 hours from start to finish. I would recommend Weber... grilling has be fantastic!

Very good product, assembly instructions horrible.
4 Star Review   By ksanders532002 on Home Depot - May 1, 2013

Solid grill, very precise controllers, excited with my purchase. The assembly instructions left much to be desired. The instructions had no verbal commentary, just pictures and arrows...a 3rd grader could have put together a more concise, intelligent set of instructions. You would think that for an expensive grill, Weber would spend a litte time and money on giving us some detailed help on assembly.

1 Star Review

Strengths: Heavy, good drainage

Weakness: Dirty, uneven heat, sucks propane, drips grease onto deck, poor customer service

I've owned this grill for a year now. I grill throughout the Winter, regardless of temperature and I put a bbq through its paces during the Summers. I own a 13 year old Envirogrill that I has been wonderful. It is long in the tooth now but still grills better than this Weber. I also grill with a Big Green Egg.My experience with the Weber is this. Grease forms in the hood and drips down the back legs onto my newly finished deck. I called Weber and was told to heat the grill above 500 degrees before and after each grill. That made no difference at all. I'm constantly having to wipe this grill out to avoid getting the grease onto my deck. I believe design is a big part of the problem. I even purchased a large Weber Q to see if it was suitable for my upper deck but it too was crap.Another concern for me is uneven cooking. The right burner is far hotter than the others. Closer to the tank perhaps but given the price of this grill, I expected far more. It was also my first attempt with SS rod grills. I don't like them and prefer cast. Just a nice cook when they are hot and I believe using cast reduces propane usage.I contacted Weber this Spring via their website contact form. I did receive a response but now seem to have been blacklisted and block from responding to their email to me. My calls aren't accepted either.I am currently researching and hope to find a replacement for the S-330. It is difficult to get quality in a big box store and most local store never carry a product that costs more than a few hundred dollars. It is a throw away society after all. One thing I will say is that be careful of the Chinese SS you see in stores. It is 200 series SS. I note that grill companies are undermining their own brand name by building cheap products for the likes of Cdn Tire, Walmart, and even HD. Makes me sick.

5 Star Review   By DT13 on Home Depot - Aug 21, 2012

Great grill, sturdy design. Big enough to entertain couple dozen guests on a Saturday afternoon. Easy to assemble. Everything fit perfectly. Burners are great and heats up the grill quickly. Super easy operation with large knobs. Also side burner is real handy for side dishes. Love this grill!

Would have given it 5 stars, if I was well informed about the grill before it arrived unassambled.
4 Star Review   By whatever on Home Depot - Aug 14, 2012

Excellent grill -- well constructed, and easy to assemble. I thought it would be all stainleess, like my last one, but only the top, extensions, and part of the doors are stainless. The sides, back and bottom are not stainless. Unfortunately, the Home Depot I visited didn't have a model of the grill assembled. I was also told the grates would be cast iron with a porcelon coating; they are stainless steel. I'm not sure what is better. I have used the grill three times, and it performed excellently, with uniform heat throught. I would reccomend it highly.

5 Star Review   By scr2002 on Home Depot - Aug 7, 2012

Had no problems with assembly. It took about an hour to put together. We have used it every night since delivery. It runs a bit hotter than our last grill but once we allowed for that it has produced excellent results. I was so pleased with the quality that I have since ordered the genesis island cabinets to match. Great grill !

Great Grill But It's An Investment.
5 Star Review   By Anthony on Home Depot - Jul 24, 2012

Pheominal build quality, that is made to last. Comes in a bunch of pieces that could overwhelming for some to put together. It took me about 1 hour to build and I consider myself fairly handy. It cooks like a champ and clean up of the stainless steel outside is simple. The aluminum fire box is a great feature that won't rust out and the three burners supply plenty of heat and control for all styles of cooking. The side burner is powerful as well. Quite the investment, but worth every penny if you grill 3+ days a week like me, year around.

Ignition doesn't work
1 Star Review   By Matt on Home Depot - Jul 24, 2012

Ignition wouldn't light the burners until they clicked 50+ times. Weber sent new electrodes, but they didn't help. Now, customer service tells me that it's normal. I have a much cheaper grill which lights on the first click every time.

5 Star Review   By member leland08 - Jul 22, 2012

Strengths: EVERY THING

So far we have cooked chicken, steaks, shrimp, burgers and vegies and it has been great.I am not a huge fan of gas grills but this is a great one. We purchased a gas grill less than two years ago that was a "good brand" well that is at the curb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fell apart in less than two years. I According to Aussie it should have lasted for years.THEY DID NOT post my review. :):)We decide on the Weber because of the good luck we have had with their charcoal grills (great). The stainless steal cleans wonderful and I have been able to direct cook chicken with out flare ups.If you purchase this grill you will not be disappointed.Oops did I say the other brand........

Parts Missing
3 Star Review   By PopPop on Home Depot - Jul 5, 2012

I watched a video on YouTube that described the unpacking and assembly of the grill. This was helpful and highly recommended. However, after I had unpacked parts and was ready to start the assembly, I found the package of nuts and bolts was missing. I spent another hour looking thru all the packaging and paper before giving up and calling Weber. They were very apologetic and promised to send the part out on next-day air. This was on Thurs evening. I received the package on the following Mon. (So I was not able to use the grill on the weekend that we had invited guests). In the meantime, I realized the drip pan was also missing, so I called back to have that sent. After I finally received all the parts, I was impressed by the ease of assembly and quality of the product. Unfortunately, I discovered the side table had been damaged in transit. So back to the phone to get a new part. By now the Weber people were not happy to hear my voice again. I have not actually used the grill yet, so will report on that at a later time.

One Nice Grill!
5 Star Review   By jiski on Home Depot - Jun 9, 2012

This is without a doubt the easiest grill to use that I have ever owned, and it does a good job, too. We've grilled with it just about every day since we purchased it. The grill does a great job and is so efficient, and for the first time, I have a grill that has a temperature gauge that actually works. The gas indicator is a nice touch. The salesman warned us about a safety mechanism in the regulator and told us what to do if it trips. So far with just normal use and turning the tank on and off we haven't tripped anything. Guess the safety mechanism only trips when you forget to do the normal routine. I got the cover and the rotisserie. The cover looks regal and and is a heavy material. The rotisserie is unique enough to warrant the extra cost over generic rotisseries. I like the handle on the one end opposite the motor. I'd definitely recommend this grill, the quality is there.

Best grill I've ever owned. Worth every cent. Every part is heavy duty, easy to clean and each part will come apart for replacing if necessary. I have spent more and received a fraction of the value. Assembly was not difficult but time consuming, have a helper

This is a great grill. The stainless steel grates really make a difference. Your food will taste better on this grill!

awesome grill, worth every penny
5 Star Review   By bigrod on Home Depot - May 11, 2012

Go ahead and spend the extra money to get you a weber. It's way nicer than most of the grills on the market. It cooks great and even. Don't waste your time or money on other grills.

Great barbeque
5 Star Review   By B52D on Home Depot - May 10, 2012

The purchase went without a hitch. The unit was actually delivered to my home 6 days after ordering. The assembly went well and all the needed parts were in the package. It took me longer than 2 hours to assemble, but it was fun and gave me ownership of the finished product.

Well built grill. Love stainless inside
5 Star Review   By BobB on Home Depot - May 2, 2012

Well built grill. Love stainless inside. Would be great if Webber could design the grill so the inside of the stand/cabinet would stay dry.

Great even heat with a wonderful searing option. This is what grilling should be like. Easy to assemble and parts are easy to remove for cleaning.

Heats up quickly
5 Star Review   By hofer on Home Depot - Nov 5, 2011

The grill was delivered to my home as scheduled. I assembled it myself. The assembly took a couple of hours. The grill heats up fast. The sear burner quickly gets a char on hamburgers or steaks. I debated getting a grill with infrared burners but settled on this one because of the stainless steel cooking grates and the lack of a rotisserie. The side burner is only adequate and not well-protected from the wind which limits its use on windy days. I like the large grilling surface area. It doesn't have a rotisserie which gives you more room. (The salamander for rotisseries take away a good two inches of grilling area from the rear of the grill.)

Truly enjoy my new grill. Great features. Great quality. Great value. I would recommend it to anyone considering an upper-tier grill purchase. You get what you pay for and this is a purchase I would do again without hesitation.

High Quality Grill
5 Star Review   By Newton on Home Depot - Aug 21, 2011

Although S-330 is expensive grill, you get what you pay for. It's very easy to assemble and all parts fit perfectly and nothing was missing. It's very sturdy and well built! Also it looks very nice in the backyard. I love everything about this grill.

Excellent Grill
5 Star Review   By SAVLCB on Home Depot - Aug 6, 2011

This grill is well constructed. Heats very evenly and over 600 + degrees in minutes. I was tired of rebuilding cheaper grills every two years. Paid the extra money and expect the Weber to last. Pay the extra money and get the sear station. The only negative has been the assembly. Was not difficult but when paying this much for a grill I would expect the option to pick up in the store, fully assembled.

Looks great!
5 Star Review   By CAgirl on Home Depot - Aug 4, 2011

Looks great, took about 2 hours to put together. Received free shipping and a military discount! We're expecting to use for many, many years! Our last Weber grill was fantastic as well, we had for 15 years and it was still working great just needed an update.

Other than the above phrase, this grill is great. Easy to control the temperature and easy to clean as well.

Excellent quality & workmanship
5 Star Review   By Arrff on Home Depot - Jul 25, 2011

We ordered our Weber Genesis S-330 on-line from Home Depot. It arrived unharmed and my husband put it together in about 2 hours. So far we only grilled once on it and were very pleased with the results. We'll be using our grill a lot even through the winter. All fish and bacon will be cooked on the grill.to keep my new kitchen, smell & grease free! The very best feature of our new grill, however; is that it's MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!

Expensive but hopefully worth it
5 Star Review   By Davidtoo on Home Depot - Jul 8, 2011

This grill reaches high temp faster than anything I've ever seen. 650 degrees in less than 10 minutes. Assembly by picture (no words) took hours, with two back track adjustments because pictures were not completely explanatory. Since assembly is a one time event, we are over that. I could cook on this thing every day. Great temp control, great grill marks. Grates are going to be chore to keep clean though.

Quality made in the U.S A product....
5 Star Review   By Mike on Home Depot - Jun 25, 2011

I was very impressed with quality of materials & craftsmanship. Very sturdy with tight fit. After assembly it fired right up with ease & couldn't wait to cook something. I preheated the grill on high for 30 min or so to burn off any factory oils or paints, then referred to the manual for further cooking tips. Later that night I cooked steaks for the family using the sear function. I had never done this before but turned out very simple & well worth it. Steaks were scored nicely & juicy inside. I am looking forward to many, many years of grilling. Thanks Weber.

Solid Product, well made
5 Star Review   By GRinGR on Home Depot - Jun 20, 2011

There is a reason that Weber has been at the top of the grilling market for so long. The product is of very high quality. Assembly does take some time. I am pretty handy and it took me well over an hour to put it together.

You get what you pay for
5 Star Review   By FHgrilling on Home Depot - May 15, 2011

This is the best grill I have ever owned. You can tell the quality of the grill from the parts used during assembly. I recommend studying the pictures of the assembly instructions really well, as there are very little written instructions and clarifications. It grills food to prefection if you follow the guidelib in the included cookbook.

Easy to assemble, works great
5 Star Review   By MarylandRobert on Home Depot - May 15, 2011

I was amazed at how well the grill was packaged. Everything was protected, it arrived in perfect condition, and every part that was needed was there. Putting it together was not difficult. The directions are clear. Total assembly time - about 2 hours. First time used, it worked as expected. Fires up easily, and pre-heats quickly. Food is cooked perfectly every time. What a great, American made product!
