Great Product!
4 Star Review   By JBsFatBoy on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2013

This is my second Bradley. I now have a 4 and a 6 rack. Great quality and smokes perfectly. I really like that you can just set your temps, smoke time and cook time then just walk away. If you use a digital thermometer with it you don't even have to open it until you are close to temp. because we all know if you are looking you aren't cooking.

Great features, excellent price!
5 Star Review   By horhay on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2013

I did not want to spend a lot of money, but this turned out to be a great value! So easy, and cooks wonderfully. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to smoke food, or even just slow cook at lower temperatures. Food tastes great, we've used it 3 times, great each time!

So Far, So Good
4 Star Review   By SteveM on Home Depot - Nov 23, 2012

I'm a South Carolinian so BBQ is a religion. For years I've used a huge offset smoker which requires nearly constant attention for the 12-14 hours that a pork shoulder or beef brisket needs, plus uses $20-30 worth of wood. So I finally pulled the plug and bought a digital smoker. So far I've only used the Bradley twice so I can't comment on its longevity. The construction seems adequate in this price range. It's not the same quality as a top tier American-made smoker but it was, after all, only about 35% of the cost of one of those. (Bradley is a Canadian company but their smokers are made in China). As other reviews have indicated, it's ridiculously easy to use. I started a pork shoulder when I went to bed, refilled the water pan which catches ash from the wood pucks and fat from the meat when I got up, and it turned out to be one of the best I'd ever done. Then I did my first smoked turkey for Thanksgiving and it was outstanding. Cleanup is a breez--I just emptied the water pan and threw the drip tray on my gas grill for about 15 minutes to burn off any remaining grease. As some other reviews have noted, the temperature does tend to vacillate but no more than would happen with a wood or charcoal fired smoker. I used a probe thermometer to monitor the temperature and it generally stayed within 15 degrees of what I'd set. Later I plan to get the cold smoking attachment. A couple of things are worth nothing. The instruction manual says that it is not be left in the rain so unless you have it under something, buy the cover. Second, I wish that it was shorter and wider. The trays will hold a pork butt but racks of ribs, packer cut briskets, or whole pork shoulders will have be to cut in two and rotated for even cooking. It's a minor thing, but a nuisance. All in all, it was excellent for the relatively low cost. Now the only test is whether it holds up over the years. It's so easy that I suspect I'll be smoking a lot more often than the 2 or 3 times a year that I fired up my offset smoker.

Very handy with excellent results
5 Star Review   By LegendLake on Home Depot - Oct 9, 2012

Perfect smoker for me and I'm a rib snob. Anyone can cook fall off the bone ribs if they cook them long enough, but this makes fall off the bone ribs with great flavor and that outer smoke bark that is to die for. Had propane model with wood chips and gave up - too much fuss to keep smoke and consistent temp. Electric temp control and "biscuit" feeder make it great to start at noon, go out and play on the lake, and have amazing ribs by 6 with great flavor. Labor day I learned that 12 racks is too much for it to handle but it does 6 racks like a champ. Standard shipping came as expected within the week.

Easiest smoker
5 Star Review   By LazySmoker on Home Depot - Aug 7, 2012

As easy as baking in an oven but with smoke you want. The digital temperature guide makes life easy as does the smoking timer. Their wood chips makes for a nice clean wood flavor and being able to control it this easy makes life simple. You can set everything for the required time, leave for the day, come back and dinner is ready.

Produces Well
4 Star Review   By PhilCC on Home Depot - Jun 16, 2012

This produces good smoked meats, after some trial n error baby backs, sausages, St Louis style ribs, pork butt, beef brisket all come out with great flavor. The only negative I can find is that whole chickens and larger birds dont do well, cutup pieces do excellently. But with use & care you can put out a spread any Q lover will enjoy.

The Best Smoker Ever!!!
5 Star Review   By MetalChefRocker on Home Depot - Apr 24, 2012

As a Chef, I search for quality in every single product I purchase from appliances to utensils. This smoker is The BOMB!!! Right out of the box I smoked ribs, salmon, chicken, potatoes, corn and a small tenderloin roast and the results were simply amazing. The smoking chips are a little pricy but you can’t beat the flavor and ease of use. There is no need for the additional thermometer which is a little deceptive but over all I love this machine and would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves to smoke food, it will give you “chef quality” results the first time out!

5 Star Review   By bowfishinsc on Home Depot - Jul 24, 2011

This is a great product. Very easy to set up and to use. I like having the option to cold smoke as well...it is great for cheeses. Have had the smoker for 2 weeks and have already smoked several different cheeses, beef brisket, thick cut pork chops, chicken breasts, and the most delicious ribeye steaks I have ever had in my life.

Very Good
4 Star Review   By PhilCC on Home Depot - Sep 19, 2010

I am an avid smoker of meats have had numerous styles of smokers. I got his to try and found it does do a very good job. However I have found that the time and temperature guidelines are not of much use for hot smoking. Other than that I like the flavor of the wood disks and the lack of bite from over smoke is a real positive. Unit is built well, well sealed when the door is closed. I have smoked ribs 3 times and chicken twice and each time very pleased with the end product. I am a low and slow smoker and not having to tend to the meat much is a good thing. It is pricey but so far seems to be worth it.
