Weber Spirit E310 Gas Grill
Strengths: Even cooking heat (no hot or cold spots), easy to assemble and tank gauge
Weakness: none yet.
I purchased a gas grill from target for my sister (for her wedding) and the main issues I had with it was that it took forever to build and was extremely heavy. Then once I started cooking on it I had to constantly move food from one spot to another otherwise it would not cook evenly. From this experience I looked into grills for myself and found this Weber to have some positive reviews on other sites. It took me 30 minutes to build (would have taken less if I had done it in the day and had more light) and once I fired it up I noticed that the food cooked evenly no matter where on the grill it was. Product quality is high on the Weber and it seems like you get what you pay for, and with a Weber you will get a lot of great cooking experiences.

Strengths: Burner and lid quality, easy assembly, super fast warmup, low gas usage
Weakness: Made in China quality shows on front doors, casters on only one side, limited shelf space
My Kenmore grill which was mint except underneath where it matters - completely rusted out even though I kept it covered. Replacement parts would have cost $100. So, I splurged $400 to get the Spirit. Would love to get the Genesis, but I could't justify spending $250 more since I don't grill that often, and the size of the Genesis was much more than we need for a family of 3.
This grill was a snap to install...it states you need 2 people to assemble it - I did it myself in about 30 minutes. Build quality is good except the front doors which don't close properly and are flimsy. I also wish caster wheels were are on all four wheels instead of just two...makes it difficult to move - at least how my patio is setup. Shelf space is limited since controls on right shelf - it Weber's trademark look - but I wish they would just put controls on the front.
The grill warms up super super fast. 500 degrees in about 7-8 minutes. Foods grills very evenly - no hot spots that I have encountered. And, temperature stays very consistent - so I've actually baked out on this grill.
Get this grill - you won't be disappoinited. I just hope the internal parts hold up for longer than 5 years unlike my Kenmore. That was the reason for the splurge. I want 10 years out of this.

Good enough to steal
Great opportunity to replace my E-310. Thanks for the great Thanksgiving Day price and free shipping as well. Recently after I moved to a new home I decided to keep my E-310 and my charcoal grill near the side of the home vs. in the rear. Apparently the desire to own an E-310 was greater than my knock off charcoal grill since thieves took the E-310 and left the charcoal. Guess they know quality, and wanted an even cooking grill, and mine apparently seemed available for their needs. Glad it is on sale so I can replace today. Sorry thieves, the replacement will no longer be available for an easy exit, unless you bring bolt cutters and a torch to gett'er loose. Thanks HD!

This is an excellent grill for the price, The parents of the bride and groom purchased it as a wedding gift with a patio set. We enjoyed the grill the whole wedding weekend. Cooked pefect Tuna steaks, burgers and chicken. The Weber stainless steel grill tools are also a nice addition. Wished it came with the tank.

Great grill !! Alittle disapointed with the shipping cost, but got it at a great price so I guess you can't have it all. Easy to assemble, about 45 min. by myself. Then fire that badboy up and start grillin !!! Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.

Excellent Grill for the price
Have always owned Weber grills, this one holds up to the reputation - great grill! I own 2 others, both are older (9/10 yrs respectively)and the electronic ignition still works. Wouldn't buy any other brand!

Weber Spirit E-310 LP Gas Grill
Outstanding Grill!!!!! I was a liitle dissapointed with the $75 shipping charge but it was on sale. I received it with 2 dents in the cover. I called cust. serv. and they shipped a new cover out. I received it about a week later. The grill cooks great. I really like the slide out bottom and the 3 burners. I slow cooked seasoned chicken and it tasted great.

My grill arrived damaged. The lid had a major dent from the inside of all places. I called the customer service number on my invoice & I received a new lid within a few days. I used my new grill tonight for the first time. It is awesome! I cooked turkey burgers evenly & quickly. I grill about 4-5 times a week & am looking forward to continued enjoyment with ths grill.

I have had the grill for about a week now, I have cooked steaks, Ribs and pork chops on it so far. Everything cooked great, I was a little dissapointed when I opened the box and all of the bolts and washers were all over the bottom of the box. I was missing one bolt, but luckily had a similar bolt so I was able to get it together. The assembly went quickly, but there was a step out of order, No big deal though. Once built the grill is very solid, it heats up quickly and cooks great. Overall I would reccommend the grill to anyone tired of buying the cheaper brands that rust away in a few years.

Gone back to a Weber
The first weber gas grill I had for 10 years, I then bought another brand for same amount of money and it didn't last 3 years so this time I went back to a weber. I cooked on it for the first and it works great.

I bought this grill a week ago for the $299 sales price online. After talking with the Weber grill hotline, the only difference between this and the new model are the wheels and the doors. The grill internals are the same. I received the grill with 5 days. The lid had a ding with paint chips, after a quick call, I received a new lid from Weber in 3 days. No questions asked. Home Depot was great to work with and so was Weber. A great grill and a great buying experience.

This Grill Will Last You And It Cooks Great!
I was originally intending to buy a grill under $200, but after reading a lot of reviews on those I decided to spend an extra $100 and get much better quality and a grill that will last a long time...especially since home depot was offering $100 off this grill when you buy it online. However, it cost $70 to ship it. Though I had no way to get a grill home from the store in my car so I had no choice but to have one shipped anyway. I also had to spend $50 on a grill cover since the generic covers will not fit the dimensions of this grill and another $30 on a propane tank since this doesn't come with one. I was extremely nervous to put this together since I've never assembled a grill before but I was pleasently surprised how simple it was. I am a 28 yr old female and had it together on my own in 30-45 mins. I just needed my 12 yr old son's help to lift the top of the grill on since it's very heavy. This grill is very good quality! As some other reviews said, you have to wait a step before screwing the back legs until you put the back panel on, but even after reading that I still had to learn for myself. No big deal though...just had to unscrew 2 screws. I cooked for the first time on it today and I am thrilled with it! I love that it came with a recipe booklet that also has a cooking chart and tells you what kind of heat and how long to cook all kinds of meat. I followed the heating and time for pork ribs and they came out fantastic! Best ribs I've ever cooked! If you are debating on whether to spend the extra money on this I would definitely recommend it. While other grills will last you 2 maybe 3 years, this one is sure to last so much longer.

Good for a starter grill
I just bought this grill for my boyfriend as a present. He wanted a gas grill and I found the online sale price of this Weber grill and figured even with the shipping (which is $75) it is cheaper than most decent gas grills (especially Webers!). It was delivered very quickly (within 3 days of ordering). Make sure you have two people to lift this grill -- it is 140 lbs! Also make sure that you deliver it where someone will be, because they will just leave the box! The grill came and the directions say that you will probably need 30 minutes to assemble. My boyfriend and I assembled it and even with an engineer in the mix...it took us about 1-1 1/2 hours to figure it out. The directions aren't very good...no written directions, only pictures of the pieces and hardware. The pieces were very well packaged, but we still had several chunks out of the black paint on the top of the grill. The wiring had also took a beating -- but we just fixed that will some electrical tape. I wasn't going to send it back at that point! We have used it 3 times in the past week (even in the cold winter weather) and LOVE it. It cooks wonderfully. We need to bring our grates and grease pan inside to clean because we have critters roaming around in the city streets and didn't want them inside the grill. I wish there were recommendations for cleaning the porcelain grates because they are tough! All in all, a great grill for the money.

Solid and Great Value Grill
I purchased the Weber E-210 a year ago for another home and received my E-310 a few days ago, which is replacing an old Coleman gas grill. Assembly is easy (as noted by others-- don't put in the screws on the back side until you get to the back panel step--not a big issue if you do and you can take them out in seconds) and fired it up and grilled some steaks and it works just as well as my E-210 series. Everyone I know who has a Weber has never complained about the quality and job it does grilling. The $299.00 price tag is a excellant price!!

Super Quick Delivery, Easy Assembly, Quality Grill
Very impressed....it arrived in just a few days and my son who is pretty handy had it assembled in less than a couple hours with no problems.... My husband grilled some chicken the other day & spoke highly of the grill.

Weber Spirit E-310
It probably is the best gas grill we've owned. I only used it once so far but i can tell it will give us pleasure for a long time. It got rapidly up to temperature and cooked my steaks to their delicious medium rare state quickly. It was a joy to use.

A quality replacement for an old friend.
This grilll replaced a much older similar version that I purchased in 1985. The upgrades make the E-310 a much better grill than the old one it replaces. I really like the covered storage under the grill so I have a place for accessories, etc. I only wish that the E-310 had come with the stainless steel flavorizer bars and grates so I won't have to replace the ones that came with the grill in a couple of years. All in all, we couldn't be happier.

easy to assemble
well packed, and shipped very quickly. instructions had one inaccuracy (as noted by someone else - don't put in the screws on the back side until you get to the back panel step) Very solid.

poor shipping, great grill
The box arrived on a very snowy day and UPS decided to leave it at the front of my garage without coming to my door, so I found it a few hours later covered in snow. The box was very damaged and I was worried the grill would be beat up, but it wasn't, just wet from the snow. While assembling the grill I noticed that there were parts (the center burner and the electrical line from the auto-starter) that were disassembled and no instructions on how to assemble. I called the help line provided and they were able to walk me through it. As far as a grill it's great! I've cooked burgers and steak so far and it does a really good job. Heats up fast in the middle of our cold winter and stays warm. Cooks food evenly and is quick to clean up. Overall I like this grill.

Weber worth every penny
This is a great grill for salt air climates and backed by the Weber warranty. Fabulous value for the money. Comes practically fully assembled which was a big plus!

Review for Initial Product Quality and Assembly
I ordered this online and would only recommend doing so if you are getting a good deal...for example $299.00 plus shipping. The stores usually have these assembled or can for a fee. It take alot of time unpacking this unit and then wow trying to dispose of the box and all the inter workings isn't fun. Now to the product, assembly is actually very easy. There was only one error in the manual. Just involved putting in a screw and then taking it back out to put the back panel in. Its more logic than anything. I had a defect in the finsih of the grill lid and bottom tray. I contacted Weber and without question sent new parts out. With the lid (since its an expensive component, I had to send a picture in, but they processed a replacement the same day.) Very good experience...I can tell they stand by their product.

Little Features......Unmatched quality.
This grill was built to do one thing and do it well. GRILL. Anyone else looking for stainless or a rotisseree(note you can add this at additional cost) need to look elswhere. I will state that I believe that this will outlast many stainless grills in higer price points. 25 year warranty on lid, and 10 year on the burners. Keep a cover on this grill and you will have a lifetime of use. The best part about Weber is the build quality and the ease of use(cleaning, replacement parts, and Weber support). I almost bought the Blue Ember grill for the value, but am glad that I went w/ the known product. This thing cooks like a champ too.

I have gone through 3 grills in the last 13 years and at one time I thought I new what a good grill was. That was until I bought this Weber grill. It heats quickly, cleans easily and is well designed. It gets so hot so quickly that it cooks steaks in less than half the time of my previous grill. That will save on propane as well. When you look at this grill in the store you probably won't notice, but Weber has provided a nifty way of monitoring the amount of propane left in the tank. Also, the fact that the tank hangs free on the side makes it much easier to access. Plus, how can you fault a grill with a 25 year warranty. The checkout person kind of laughed when she asked if I wanted to purchase the extended plan. I almost did it on the off chance I could drag a 28 year old grill into home depot for a replacement. Anyway, great grill and the extra money to get this quality is well worth it.

You wont regret it
Strengths: Even cooking, quality construction.
Weakness: Not as fancy as others that cost less.
I looked & looked for 2 days before deciding to go ahead & spend almost twice as much for a smaller, less fancy grill. Lowes had alot to choose from & the big, fancy "stainless steel" ones (which must be a cheap stainless because there was rust on it - especially at the seams.) that had side burners and "infrared cooking" (which is bogus - read Consumer Reports) sure looked nice & were well under the price of the Weber. But every single person I spoke with who has ever owned a Weber told me I would never regret buying it.
I've cooked on it twice in the 2 days I've had it. I had the entire surface covered with Steak/Shrimp/Chicken Kabobs & every one of them cooked evenly. If they were on my old grill - forget it - some would have been raw while others would have turned to charcoal!!
So, bottom line, just pay the extra. If you dont, 2 years from now, when that fancy "stainless" grill is rusted worse than a '65 Mustang floorboard, you will wish you had!!

Heats fast - Great grill
I will forgo the issues I had in trying to order this online through Home Depot (and wouldn't have gone into the store if it weren't the best price by far) and go straight to the grill. Assembly time was about 1.5 hours. While a bit wobly to put together and a piece broke, I called customer service who is shipping a new piece ASAP (don't forget to register the grill!). It was a piece that holds 2 screws to the left side panel, so now it has only one screw. No big deal though with spending $400, you'd think it would be made well enough. Cheap pieces not withstanding, the grill heats up SUPER fast and is true to form. We've made chicken, steak and burgers thus far and the meal has been cooked to perfection (kiss the griller!). I am testing the waters with some oiled wipes and salmon tonight but it's performed wonderfully!

grilling for two
This is a super sized grill for two people. The grill heats quickly and cooks very evenly. We have cooked hamburgers & brats on it that were some of the juicest we have ever cooked. Compared to my old grill this one is all you could ask for. Its small size make moving it around my deck super simple.
