Just what we needed

We bought an older panasonic 2.2 cu ft microwave used some years ago, and what a work horse it was! Five years later, this dinosaur (15-20 years old) finally started to fade. We had gotten so used to the large capacity, so that was our first requirement. When I found a newer version of the exact same thing we previously had, I knew that was what we wanted. When I found the price was in line with...

you can make lemonade with lemons, but . . .

Date of purchase 1/22/11, stop operating around June, took the unit into authorized repair shop 3 times on 7/10/11, 9/24/11 & 9/29/11, finally died again 6/25/12. You can make lemonade with lemons, but there is nothing you can do with a pile of panasonic junk.

Excellent Microwave

This microwave has lasted us for 6 years and died a slow death over the last 4 months. (we could coax it to work by hitting the reset button) We never had any problems before that and will replace it with as close at we can to the model we have now. (Inverter, 2.2 cubic feet, 1250 watts.)
