it's a bit pricier than the "7"...
Strengths: large capacity, strong motor, great performer
Weakness: heavy, eats up some counter space
it's a bit pricier than the "7" but worth the extra money for the capacity and strength. either way, be prepared to sacrifice a bit of counter space or move a heavy unit when needed. comes with a helpful video. performance is awesome for a home unit.

Strengths: Versatile, large capacity and easy to clean
Weakness: expensive, but worth it
This is just a small amount bigger than a coffee machine so it does not take up much room which is nice if you only have limited space to begin with. The base of the food processor is hard plastic. This is just a small amount bigger than a coffee machine so it does not take up much room which is nice if you only have limited space to begin with. The base of the food processor is hard plastic. The control pannel is flush with the food processor which makes cleaning it up a breeze. All you have to do is wipe it off with a damp rag. You have your regular on, off, and pulse buttons as well as a new added feature of dough button.
This comes with a 11 cup clear, plastic bowl that has a solid white plastic handle. This makes it so easy to get in and out after using. There is also a dough blade that has short dulled blades to cut through the dough easily. You can make up to three pounds of dough at a time with this machine. There is a chopping blade that has long sharp blades. This is what is used the most since you can use this blade for anything other than making dough.
There is also a 4mm slicing blade that is great for making sliced potatoes (for frying) or sliced zuchhini for a casserole. This blade is round and the same size as the bowl. It is flat and has four arreas for the fruit, vegetable, or whatever you are slicing to be cut.
Shredding disc is the same size as the work bowl. There are small wholes in the blade for the shredding. This is excellent for cole slaw, items for taco's, or slicing carrots for a salad.
Small and large pushers. The small pusher is used for adding items such as nuts or small items to mixture while in use. This keeps you from having to open the processor and add the items . The larger pusher is for fruits or vegetables that will not fit into the smaller pusher. Both are not the easiest pieces to clean. Thankfully they can be put into the dishwasher.
I have used this for making cookie dough, biscuits, and pizza crust using the dough feature. It works wonderfully and I have had no problem with it acting as if it were going to stop or hesitating even when I got to around three pounds worth of cookie dough. It is not the quietest item when you push it to that level, but by no means does it sound like a buzz saw like one of my old ones did. The base does not rock or move in the least even on larger batches.
I use the chopping blade the most for tomatoes, peppers or whatever I am needing. This makes quick work of it. I use the pulse more often than the regular on switch so as to not puree my food.:) Now I do use the on button if I am making a smoothie, crushing ice, or making a milk shake. The pulse tends to work better for chopping items though since it is short bursts of power and you can control the consistency you want better.
