Nice and quiet
4 Star Review   By Hedmom on Home Depot - May 9, 2013

This replaced a still working whirlpool. Nice and quiet, cleans well. Only drawback is the silverware slots are too small for most of mine.

Quality is AWESOME!
4 Star Review   By Pads on Home Depot - Mar 12, 2013

Whirlpool Gold Dishwasher, very quiet, and awesome quality. The only thing I do not like is the silverware holder. It has separate sections for each piece of silverware and many of mine do not fit. I have to open the lid of each holder (2) and just put the silverware in all together. Also, if you do put them in the separate compartments, I find it hard to unload without touching the silverware on parts other than the handles. Delivery men did a wonderful job installing.

This diswasher is very quiet. It was easy to install and does a great job cleaning the dishes. Dishes are dry when the cycle is finished. Great product.

Great Purchase
5 Star Review   By Jfleming4947 on Home Depot - Mar 10, 2013

After reading many reviews we decided to purchase this dishwasher and we are glad we did. The thing is so quiet that I thought it wasn't working the first time I ran it. The large capacity saves us a lot of time and effort. I also really like that we don't have to scrub the dishes before loading. We have only had the dishwasher a few months but so far it is perfect. If you don't use a rise aid then the dishes don't dry very well. I would buy this dishwasher again.

My coffee maker makes more noise, then this dishwasher does. I have only had this about 4 weeks.

Parts falling apart after one month
1 Star Review   By icecolady on Home Depot - Feb 9, 2013

I had a Kenmore dishwasher for over 10 years which worked very well for us. When the motor burned out on our old unit, we went to our local Home Depot and bought this Whirlpool. From the start it seemed to be flimsy. The utensil holder fell apart almost immediately. When you open the door and pull out the bottom shelf, the door angles down completely to the floor. Consequently the bottom shelf simply rolls out and lands on the kitchen floor. The final straw was tonight, when the top shelf collapsed after the left side rail simply disengaged . I will say that it is quiet. Frankly I'd rather have a noisy dishwasher that had some quality to it.

Very good value.
4 Star Review   By LKKL on Home Depot - Jan 19, 2013

I like the roominess of the interior and the wider separation between the dishes. I also like how well the dishwasher cleans. However, the top rack has less functionality for me, and most of the slots in the tableware box don't fit my forks, knives, and table spoons.

Just Okay
3 Star Review   By wm12 on Home Depot - Jan 3, 2013

Replacing a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II that had a failed grinding motor bearing. This dishwasher is much quieter, but does not clean as well and does not drain as fast. Water frequently pools back in the bottom of dishwasher.

Great dishwasher, very quiet.
4 Star Review   By Dave on Home Depot - Nov 6, 2012

We replaced a 11 year old Whirlpool Gold with this newer model. It is much quieter, which is a huge plus! Basically the same operation modes. The flexibility of the baskets is not as good as the old one though - not as many movable tines and shelves. Price seems a little high.

VERY Nice Looking Stainless Steel Appliance
5 Star Review   By Chip0105 on Home Depot - Oct 30, 2012

We have only had this item for a week or so and have not really used it other that running it through it's first time cycles. Without using the rinse aid the stainless steel interior retains a LOT of moisture buildup. Using the rinse aid is supposed to reduce/remove this. Use a good quality foaming stainless steel cleaner and any fingerprints on the outside of the door can be easily removed keeping it looking great.

What I expected
5 Star Review   By lovelyrmm on Home Depot - Oct 16, 2012

So far we are happy with the performance. When the model in the home we purchased quit working, I was happy to replace it with a Whirlpool. After looking at many models and comparing a few brands, I settled on this model for the sound rating, size and adjustability features, and I prefer seeing the controls and not having a handle that protrudes on the face of it. I have been using the liquid detergent I had left and a rinse aid, and other than water that collects in a low spot on a few items, the dry cycle does a great job. The silverware basket lids get left open, but I always just mix the types anyway so they all get clean! I typically use the Normal wash with the Hi-temp wash feature, and usually heated dry. I like that the door will remain slightly open if it needs to finish drying the inside surface at all. I really did not need some of the features, but who knows! I do like that there is no spray up the middle to load around. We let the electrician put it in and he did a great job of making sure it was level.
