Very good dishwasher for not a lot of money.

I purchased this dishwasher after reading many positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Following Whirlpool's recommendations, I used rinse aid in conjunction with gel type detergent and the dishes cleaned spotlessly. This dishwasher is also very quiet, a feature I was looking for. Now for my complaint. I installed this dishwasher myself, which for the average diyer is not a difficult process. However, at one point the instructions called for installing the strain relief on the power cord, but there was no strain relief included though it was clearly illustrated in the manual (one trip to the hardware store). When I purchased the dishwasher, it was recommended to buy the installation kit, which contained a supply line, an adapter for the supply line that was specific to the dishwasher, and other small parts for different connection options. When installation was almost complete, I attached the supply line to the machine and it leaked. Six attempts failed. As I was able to use the old supply line, the only part I needed from this kit was the adapter, which was worthless (another trip to the hardware store for the adapter, which worked the first time). So here is my question to Whirlpool (and all the other appliance manufacturers). Why don't you include the appliance specific adapter when you sell the machine? paid $3.38 at Home Depot for the correct part, so it can't be a cost issue. Having said all that, I would recommend this dishwasher, exceptions noted.

I highly recommend this product. This dishwasher has two sprayers, one at the top and one at the bottom. Very quite. it also has a delay up to 4 hours.
