pricey but works well
4 Star Review   By shoppingfool on Home Depot - May 9, 2012

I've had this dishwasher for about a month. It is very quiet and I love that you can wash just one rack if you don't have a full load. I also like that it has a stainless finish on the inside, that you can adjust the size of the sections in the racks and that the controls are on the inside so there are no controls showing, just two lights; blue for washing, green for done. It just looks clean and uncluttered. It seems to work well, but I've only used it on the 'normal' setting so far. On the 'con' side, I don't like that it shows finger prints and I thought it was pricey.

This is an excellent machine. It runs quietly and cleans completely. It doesn't leave any soap scum or gritty feeling on the dishes.

Two lemons tell the story...
1 Star Review   By Charlottemom on Home Depot - Apr 27, 2012

When I rennovated my kitchen I bought the current model like this. Within a year, the motor broke. After many many fights with LG, they replaced the whole machine. Three years later the repair man said it will be $500 to replace the motor in the "replacement". Repair man said LG dishwashers give him a lot of business.

Not Worth the Money
1 Star Review   By Karla on Home Depot - Apr 20, 2012

We have owned this dishwasher for a little over 2 years. It has never cleaned well even using a rinse aid. If the dishes aren't completely rinsed they come out of the dishwasher with food baked on. The dishes are completely wet at the end of the cycle and have to be dried before putting away. The bottom tray falls off track very easily as well. Recently the cycle would not complete and we received an "he" error. We had purchased an extended warranty and the company sent someone out to replace the heating element and pump although it did take them three weeks. It didn't fix the problem and we called the warranty company again only to be given the run around and after a month and a half we still didn't have a working dishwasher. We contacted the store who agreed to replace the dishwasher. This is not the first LG product we have had problems with and would not recommend them to anyone.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
1 Star Review   By Emily on Home Depot - Apr 9, 2012

This washing machine looks nice and shiny on the outside, but it perfect proof that looks can be deceiving. And boy, are they in this case! Just short of a year after buying this dishwasher, I kept getting OE (outlet error) messages 30 minutes into the cycle. The machine stops, and I have to open and close the door for it to resume. Every 10 minutes after that, it keeps doing the SAME THING. For the past several months, I've had to keep very close watch on it and remain in the kitchen to make sure it keeps working. I might as well wash my dishes by hand at this point. Thinking it could at least be fixed, I called a repairman hoping he could do something about this very huge problem. Basically, the verdict is that it needs a new MOTOR, which is pretty much going to cost the same as a WHOLE NEW DISHWASHER. That, in addition to the LONG cycle time (2hr+), skimpy rinsing (had to use double rinse), and other problems is just too much for the price of this dishwasher. So, I'm giving up on this piece of trash, and buying something else. My 10 year old dishwasher was better and more thorough than this!

Poorly made, parts keep on falling off. DO NOT BUY!
1 Star Review   By Kate on Home Depot - Apr 6, 2012

This product is horrible. Not only do the wheels fall off, the bottom rack continues to fall out of the open dishwasher with the slightest touch, even though it is leveled properly. All this started during the warranty time, I didn't think it could get worse. After 1.5 years of owning the bottom racks spinning arm is falling off. The only redeeming quality is the style, but since it isn't even washing dishes, and needs to be replaced, I would forgo style for the sake of use any day.

I'd Purchase This Dishwashter Again
4 Star Review   By DCLoganBear on Home Depot - Apr 4, 2012

So quiet you barely know it's on. Glasses come out sparkling ... cleaner than any machine I've ever owned. I don't really notice much of a problem with dishes not being dry since I don't empty the dishwasher for many hours after the cycles are completed. One problem I have noticed is a smell. I only use my machine two or three times a week and sometimes, between long times of not running the machine, I notice an unpleasant smell. Other than that I love this product. I purchased the matching French three-door fridge, microwave and stove and couldn't be happier.

They make great phones, but this is not a phone....
1 Star Review   By DavidD on Home Depot - Mar 20, 2012

We bought this dishwasher and learned a valuable lesson. LG should stick to phones. This dishwasher stopped draining and after we learned that it was the sump pump, we purchased the entire assembly for an additional $150, The dishwasher worked three times after the part was replaced and the control panel shorted out. We love Home Depot but they should rethink their dishwasher selection.

I love LG but please don't spend your money on this one.
1 Star Review   By Momof6 on Home Depot - Feb 5, 2012

I purchased this dishwasher 2 years ago and it is really terrible. I have had the LG repairman out and he fixed everything on it. He told me that it would operate like a new machine. I should have immediately returned the product to Home Depot and purchased a different brand. It got the dishes clean at first, but after a short time it left a lot of food particles on it. It does not have a venting system, so you have to open it as soon as it is done and then you still have to dry off the dishes if you want to put them right away. I have the LG washer and dryer and I love them. It was because of this I bought the dishwasher. It is also supposed to be silent, but it has a high pitched squeal now and the shortest cycle lasts for a little over an hour. I followed all of the advice that they gave me, using the rinse agent, running the hot water, using liquid detergent, but it still does not do a good job. There is no visible heating element and as stated before there is no venting system. For only being 2 years old and being as expensive as it is, I am beyond disappointed.

NO HEATING ELEMENT-MUST WIPE WATER EVEN WITH RINSE AIDE
1 Star Review   By IsayNoNoNo on Home Depot - Oct 26, 2011

I have unit like this except has small 3rd rack @ top. This is the same unit with similiar problems: YOU MUST WASH DISHES before putting into dishwasher. DISHES MAY OR MAY NOT COME CLEAN; no matter how much rinse aid!!! NO,NO, NO, heating element! Only FAN DRY & HOT WATER TEMP will santize... Now everybody is finding out who makes heat element or not; most make "HEAT ELEMENT" and still ENERGY EFFICIENT!!!

Waste of Money
1 Star Review   By City1 on Home Depot - Oct 26, 2011

I have never been so displeased about buying an appliance in my life. This dishwasher does not clean dishes and leaves a film on all of the glasses. It does not have a heat dry feature. I understand the sales ploy on this one is that LG is trying to keep up with Bosch. The arrangement for dishes is so basic in this unit it is comparable to a 200.00 dishwasher no flip down tines and most pots and pans will not fit in this dishwasher. I have had nothing but trouble dealing with returning this product to home depot and would really like some help. The salesperson keeps saying that it is the greatest washer out there and that they will be sending a repairman out to look at it. My thoughts just come and get this piece of junk. I will be disputing the charges with home depots credit card company because they really haven't done anything to stand behind their product in this case. Do not buy, look at or come close to an LG dish washer.

Poor Cleaning and Drainage
1 Star Review   By ggss on Home Depot - Aug 24, 2011

I bought this dishwasher last November, after using it since then, I am highly disappointed with the unit.First, it doesn't clean the dishes well at all. It leaves grit and particles on the plates and silverware even with pre-washing by hand and we have tried rinse aids and different products. It doesn't make a difference what you use. It also doesn't drain all the water out of the tub or dry well, thus it smells after a few days! Loading is difficult to stack the dishes in the trays and they don't stand well. Highly disappointed with this LG unit that cost a fair amount. One good thing is that it is super quiet.

After MONTHS of research - we chose LG.
5 Star Review   By Cynicalnatl on Home Depot - May 10, 2011

I am a regular Home Depot shopper. I picked up this dishwasher last November when HD was offering incredible deals on appliances leading up to their Black Friday sale. After many months of researching / shopping - I settled on LG because I love the styling and the sale was too good to pass up. This dishwasher has been perfect! It looks incredible - very high-end. When running, it is completely silent. All you hear is a low hum. Some reviews I read complained about drying. I use rinse agent (have read online you may also use vinegar) and it dries perfectly. We LOVE this dishwasher. I recommend waiting til November. Prices ALWAYS come down. Also - with the money you save on seasonal pricing - purchase the extended warranty!!!!!!

Leaves Residue
2 Star Review   By Ginsterc on Home Depot - Feb 10, 2011

I thought buying this dishwasher would be great because of the steam feature but that actually does nothing to clean the dishes better. The wash cycle is OVER 2 hours long. You would think with that wash time the dishes would be free from buildup. Not so. The dishes frequently come out with food residue like grit on the glasses and dishes. I do not recommend LG. I miss my Bosch.

Loved it, but THEN......
1 Star Review   By CTredo on Home Depot - Feb 8, 2011

I bought this dishwasher in Nov 2009. I thought it was the best thing since peanut butter, 5 out of 5 for sure. I could even fit my large electric roaster pan on the bottom shelf and it cleaned unbelievably. I loved the steam heat and no heating element for things to be melted on if they fell down. Every feature was wonderful. Thank goodness I purchased the 4 yr extended service plan. In Dec 2010...one year and a few days after I purchased, we started getting an error message "HE" about 2/3 the way through a cycle. The cycle was stopped and the water would stay in the bottom. We called the Service Warranty company and they sent someone to troubleshoot from a local company. He said they had to order parts and his office would contact us... we never heard back for 10 days. My husband called the repair company and was referred back to the Service Plan company since it had to be "fixed." The service plan company sent another repair service. They came and guess what...they brought no parts and also just troubleshot the issue. They came to the same conclusion as the first company...parts needed to be ordered. They were ordered and on another service visit, they replaced the steam heating element. We ran one cycle just fine but on the second cycle...same "HE" error again. Called the repair service and were told that everything had to go through the Service Plan company so we called them again. They sent someone to trouble shoot again...ordered more parts...came back and installed the parts yesterday. Ran one cycle and guess what "HE" message AGAIN. Today my husband went to Home Depot and they have contacted the Service Plan company to file a Lemon claim. Home Depot was very apologetic and helpful today and we are told we should hear something back from the Service Plan company in 24 to 48 hours. 7 weeks without a dishwasher and my hands are dried up....I NEED a DISHWASHER.....PLEEEEEASE!

LG Steamwasher is awesome
5 Star Review   By DarkMark on Home Depot - Nov 4, 2010

I had finally spent more money on fixing my old dishwasher than what I spent on buying my old dishwasher, so I went around town looking for them when I finally found one I wanted. I then went to Home Depot to take advantage of one of the promotions they were running. Home Depot sold the model I bought, but I had to go to a different store to look at the model. First of all, the delivery was flawless, I installed the dishwasher myself with ease and once it was installed, I noticed a huge difference, not only in the cleanliness of my dishes, but in the sheer amount of dishes the LG Steamwasher cleans. My old dishwasher had its own rack for cookie sheets and pizza pans and I thought I would miss that, but the LG had enough room in the bottom rack to stand those pans up! I used to play Dish Tetris with my old dishwasher, trying to get as much in as I could while still ensuring the dishes would get clean and be within the spray reach. Not with the LG Steamwasher. It is almost too hard to fill up. And that's with a family of 5 with an infant who has a ton of baby stuff that needs to be cleaned!! I can fit 3-4 meals worth of plates and cups and bowls and stuff in the thing and the dishes come out spotless each time. And as a bonus, the dishwasher is very quiet. I am thrilled, it is worth the time savings to spend the extra money. Remember how much your time is worth! Families who wash two loads of dishes a day with an old dishwasher may be able to reduce the work to one load or less a day.

Quiet & Efficient
5 Star Review   By jasnel on Home Depot - Sep 18, 2010

I love my new dishwasher. Very quiet and efficient. I also love the sound when you turn it on. The steam feature is great too. Just don't forget to put rinse aid for better performance or else you will open your dishwasher with all the dishes wet. We had some challenges with the installation, if you have to replace an old dishwasher, make sure that the wiring as well as the water bulb inlet would both fit the newer model.

Cleans great! Dries awesome!
4 Star Review   By tessabella on Home Depot - Aug 25, 2010

This dishwasher was great. I originally ordered the step below with out steam and that one was broke or something. It made a horrible nail on chalkboard noise. This one is better because adjustable racks and has more options. Well worth the extra money. This one is quiet. Not silent. You can hear the water running slightly and a light humming noise, but much quieter than our old Kenmore. The steam is wonderful. The machine dries well and clean wonderfully. If it doesn't, it's broke, return it! I reviewed the model below on the Home Depot website, but they must remove the reviews that they don't like because it's gone. They did email me to discuss my disappointment, so that was nice. If your in Canton, GA try talking to Randy in Appliances, he is very nice and easy to deal with. In the end Home Depot came to the rescue. I love this dishwasher.

Where can we return this machine?
1 Star Review   By Saratoga1 on Home Depot - Aug 15, 2010

We bought this product because of the reviews we read but we are so unhappy with it I had to write. We thought we'd replace our great cleaning Whirlpool machine with a sleeker looking, quieter model when we had to add a dishwasher to a rental unit. We thought we'd take the new unit and give them the great cleaning but louder model we had. We bought this unit and made the switch. It was immediately apparent that we had made a grave error. This model cleaned very poorly, even after we rinsed the food off well. By 2 hours after loading the dishwasher there is already an odor of bad food in the machine. Every time you open the door you are greeted by this awful smell. The dishes do not dry and you are left with wet dishes (maybe this accounts for the rotten smell.) at the end of the cycle. This despite running the rinse cycle every time we put in dishes. We even use every possible feature to use to clean and disinfect but to no avail. The machine is a harbor for germs and they are being distributed on our dishes- yum! I wish I had my old, though less sexy looking , dishwasher back. I know our tenants are enjoying it because they have told us! I have to say that I do not recommend this machine under any circumstances. Except as a contestant in a beauty pageant when all it has to do is sit there and look pretty.

interior perfect - exterior not
4 Star Review   By cheercoach on Home Depot - Jul 3, 2010

This dishwasher is wonderful for washing dishes. Maybe the best ever in my book. I can't keep the exterior streak free. I only use SS wipes and it still has water marks. Whoever says you just have to get SS - it is the best and state of the art has not tried to keep it clean!

Finally know the real meaning of clean!!
5 Star Review   By anewlife4us on Home Depot - May 1, 2010

I have had dishwashers in the past, and always could tell items that had been washed in a dishwasher, due to after taste, residue and other tell-tell signs. Now however, I am astonished at how CLEAN my dishes and silverware truly are. I recently underwent major surgery which requires me to make extra precautions when it comes to the sanitation of things I use. I have no doubts when I place them in this LG Steam Dishwasher, that they are going to come out cleaner than I could ever imagine and totally sanitized! The only problem I have is that the there is so much space inside that it seems to take twice as long for me to get a full load together LOL...Thats where the special features come in handy to clean smaller loads and not feel as though I am wasting water and energy. This should be a standard product for anyone with health issues, or with families that they wish to insure will not be dealing with any leftover bacterial residue left from some dishwashers.

Dishwasher Cracked on Bottom
1 Star Review   By Greene73 on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2010

Be very careful and inspect this dishwasher once it is delivered. I had to refuse 2 of these dishwashers because they were both cracked on the bottom. The first one had 1 crack and was lop-sided upon installation; the 2nd one was cracked on both sides. I'm switching to another brand.

Dishwasher is very quiet and does what we expect it to do. Cleans and dries the dishes without trouble. Barely uses any detergent. Use the rinse aid and dishes will be clean and dry. Very happy with the product so far.

Check out the Toekick
4 Star Review   By LGbuyer on Home Depot - Feb 9, 2010

This dishwasher is so quiet, I never knew a dishwasher could be this quiet. It's got lots of features, so it is going to take awhile to figure things out. The dishes and glasses come out sparkling clean, but don't always seem to be completely dry. Here's the shocker - for all this money, they provide a really unsighly toekick. I cannot believe someone actually designed that - it looks awful in my newly remodeled kitchen. Beautiful woodwork broken up by this ugly grayish blue spray pained metal plate that actually has the machine head screws visible. Not sure why they couldn't even put a fake stainless or black toekick.

LG LDF7932ST Dishwasher
5 Star Review   By montemac on Home Depot - Dec 29, 2009

My husband and I purchased this product about 2 weeks ago. I have read varying reviews about it not cleaning well, not drying your dishes etc., but after running it several times, I have not seen any of these problems. I love this dishwasher. It is whisper quiet. A couple of times, I actually had to put my ear next to it to hear it. It cleans thoroughly and my dishes, even tupperware, come out completely dry. If I had to find a negative, it would be the price. It is expensive, but in my opinion, well worth it. 2 weeks after we purchased this dishwasher, it went on sale at another store and our home depot matched the price and gave us back the difference. I want to thank Cheryl and Becky at store # 4621 for making this go so smoothly.

Delivery, Installation & Performance Review
5 Star Review   By JDLoganvilleGA on Home Depot - Nov 19, 2009

DELIVERY REVIEW: Ordered online and delivered as scheduled. Delivery agents polite and courteous. Make sure you CAREFULLY inspect the product for damage before the delivery agent leaves - not just the front stainless steel door panel as I did. While removing the bottom toekick panel to locate the water and electrical hookup, I discovered that the bottom front right corner was cracked. This one piece, made of plastic, encompasses the entire bottom of the dishwasher. I immediately called DepotDirect and had a replacement unit on order for delivey in a week. They were very helpful. The second dishwasher arrived and I carefully inspected the entire unit (including the bottom) before signing the delivery receipt. INSTALLATION: The installation instructions are easy to understand and straightforward. I found it easier to lay the back of the dishwasher on the floor, near the opening, to expose the toe kick panel and power and water line channels on the bottom of the unit. Once the toe kick panel and insulation pad is removed, the water and electrical hookups are easy to locate. Using the Dishwater Install Kit (purchased separately), wrap teflon tape on the pipe threads of the 90-degree elbow and install on the inlet valve. Go ahead and attach the dishwasher water supply line (do not connect to the shut-off valve under sink at this time) and route to back of dishwasher along the water line channel and secure with provided twist ties (cut in half). Using a 10' piece of twine, attach to the end of the water supply line and route the twine through the cabinet opening. This will allow you to pull the water line into the cabinet as you slide the dishwasher into the opening. Hopefully your electrical power cable is long enough to complete the hookup while the dishwasher is still on its back. Remove the junction box cover and connect a 3/8" NM strain relief connector (purchased separately), MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF and connect the black, white, and ground wires using twist wire connectors (purchased separately), secure junction box cover, and route power cable along the channel and secure with twist ties. Using a 10' piece of twine, attach to the end of the water discharge hose (attached to dishwasher) and route the twine through the cabinet opening. This will allow you to pull the water discharge hose into the cabinet as you slide the dishwasher into the opening. Attach the two install brackets to the top of the dishwasher. While pulling the twine, slide the dishwasher partially into the opening. Using your hands, lower the front dishwasher legs so that the top of the dishwasher door is about 1/4" from the bottom of the countertop. Using a phillips screwdriver, lower the rear legs by rotating the two rear leg adjusting screws (located near each of the front legs). Slide the dishwasher into the opening and check gaps on either side, adjust accordingly. Continue to lower the front and rear legs to level dishwasher and prepare for attachment to underside of countertop (I have laminate). Make final check for plumbness and level, making sure dishwasher door will open/close properly without scraping countertop. Secure the two install brackets to underside of countertop with the screws provided. Make sure you pre-drill the holes if secured into particle board. Verify door opening/closing. Complete water supply line and water dishcharge hose connections beneath kitchen sink. Turn water supply on and check for leaks. Turn circuit breaker on. Turn dishwasher on and run through "Quick Wash" cycle. Before replacing insulation pad and toe kick panel, check for leaks. PERFORMANCE REVIEW: I haven't had the dishwasher long enough to utilize many of the features, however, the unit is VERY QUIET and CLEANS WELL. Make sure the inlet water temperature is at least 120-degrees for max. washing and reduced cycle time. Also, make sure you use a Rinse Aid to help with drying and minimize spotting. Dishware and glassware organization on the top and bottom racks does take getting use to. Individual silverware slots in the silverware basket is a nice feature. Use "Stainless Steel Magic" to keep the front door clean and streak-free.

Nice looking, cleans well
4 Star Review   By curtisgrandview on Home Depot - Nov 16, 2009

This washer cleans well and looks good in the kitchen. The only negatives I would note are that it is not too easy to load the dishes -- also, the inner baskets seem flimsy as compared to my old dishwasher. I am pleased with the cleaning performance.

Great washer, clean and great looking also
5 Star Review   By ksremodeler on Home Depot - Nov 5, 2009

We have loved this new dishwasher. The steam feature is very nice for older and more delicate dishes and silverware that we have. It is very quite, even if it does run a little longer than the last one we had. It is very nice looking and we lover the design with the buttons on top, and a smooth clean front. Very nice inside and the additional sprayers do a great job to get all the little food off, and leaves very little if any spots on the dishes. We are impressed, and if the steam kills the germs we love that part even more!!

24 LG Dishwasher
5 Star Review   By MsMJH on Home Depot - Nov 1, 2009

Love this machine!!! It is so quiet I have to look for the light. I was suprised at easy installation and pleased with clean dishes. My only complaint (so far) is that loading it is going to take some getting used to. Otherwise 6 stars in my book.

Awesome
5 Star Review   By househusband on Home Depot - Oct 5, 2009

This dishwasher can take its time to do a wash (often 2 hours) but the cleaning and the quiet is awesome. We put in a water softener at the same time and prior to this all of our glassware had hard water stains on it. One round of the steam cycle had them all looking like new. Of course it is easy to like a 'new toy' but after 3 month we have nothing but good things to say about this product.

Designed Poorly / Cleans Poorly
1 Star Review   By PRBoulder on Home Depot - Oct 2, 2009

This dishwasher does not clean well. Unless you rinse / wipe dishes with sticky foods really thoroughly, the dishes will not come clean. I am really tired of opening the dishwasher at the end of the cycle to find food stuck to the dishes. The dishwasher racks are designed poorly. It's very difficult to find room for anything other than standard plates on the bottom rack. For example, you can't stack pasta bowls. Even though this dishwasher is bigger than my old one, it holds fewer dishes.

LOVE IT !!!
5 Star Review   By 475Ginger on Home Depot - Sep 26, 2009

I love this dishwasher, I don't need to rinse the dishes and any size pan I have fits!!! No more dish rack sitting on my counter. The dishes and glasses come out sparkling clean. It looks great as well. I love the intergrated controls.

impressive
5 Star Review   By keno on Home Depot - Sep 21, 2009

We had this dishwasher installed as a replacement for an older Kitchenaid machine. We have many dishes and glasses that are more than ten years old and appeared to have been etched through years of hard water use. One washing in this dish washer restored all of them to "like new" appearance. Since we used the same detergent, it has to be this dishwasher. The installation was quick and easy, sales assistance in the store was great. The noise level in the kitchen has dropped to the point that the noisiest part of the cycle is the running water.

great machine
5 Star Review   By trixiegal on Home Depot - Aug 17, 2009

I spent literally months reviewing dishwashers and I was sure I only wanted either a Bosch or Electrolux but, the the models with the features I wanted were too expensive so I began looking at LG and I found the most important features to me were in this model for alot less money. The machine was very easy for hubby to install, and super quiet with a 50 decible rating. The online Home Depot Rep was great and actually pointed me to this model when I told her what I wanted and I'm so glad she did! This machine holds more dishes than I imagined and now I have to wait to the end of the day to do a full load instaed of two a day when I had my other machine. I use the quick cycle and dishes look perfect. The interior is open and fits anything in upper or lower racks. I love the upper and lower jet features, there are so many features I havent even explored. Great buy!

Wow. This one is quiet
5 Star Review   By scarver on Home Depot - Aug 6, 2009

This dishwasher is a major step forward from the the Whirlpool model it replaced...not that that one was no slouch. It probably had all the features one would expect on a dishwasher. But the major improvements are these: -Whisper quiet. We didn't think it was on when we first started. - No center sprayer arm. This really opens up a lot of real estate inside the dishwasher - Lower to the ground. The design is lower than the one it replaced. It gives more space to both the upper and lower rack. Many things fit in that did not in the old one. -Silverware organization. I like the way this one has you pre-sort the forks, knives and spoons. It makes emptying much faster. I'm an average joe as far as mechanical skills go, but had no problem installing this one myself. Home Depot had the best price and financing. I recommend this one.

Big tub, low noise
5 Star Review   By Pony on Home Depot - May 30, 2009

I was a little apprehensive buying such an expensive dishwasher without being able to read any reviews, my fears were unfounded. THE GOOD: The tub is huge! The top rack has two height settings (conveniently changeable with no effort at all) - this means you can get very large items in the bottom rack when needed. The dishwasher has an extra dual mode that sprays water at high speed at the bottom rack, and slow at the top rack (great for washing tough stains from baked on dishes on the bottom rack whilst protecting delicate glasses on the upper rack). Several of the place setting tines are adjustable to suit your own individual dish shapes and sizes. The dishwasher is quiet, I mean REALLY quiet. Unless the room is in complete silence then you only know it is running because a LED light shows it is! This dishwasher is great for open plan living where normal dishwashers may cause noise interference. The cutlery basket has 3 sections which detach - you can move one or more of them to the upper rack, or leave out of the dishwasher* The dishwasher is easy to set, with intuitive button options, and clear lights to show the selected feature. . All the controls are out of site when the dishwasher is closed which makes cleaning the stainless steel front a quick wipe with a damp cloth. Dishes always come out clean. The steam option is great for cleaning tough stains, or to simply give your wine glasses a quick freshening up after taking them from the hutch. It works as it should and it looks great. THE BAD: As previously stated the cutlery basket comprises of 3 detachable sections - the connections between these is not very secure, and more than once I have lifted the basket to load it and had to reconnect the pieces together. Installation is not as simple as with smaller tub machines. Due to the fact the manufacturer has squeezed every last bit of space in to this machine it requires specific installation requirements. The water and drain hose MUST enter the kitchen cabinet as marked on a template or you will not be able to fit the machine back in the whole. We were lucky that our cabinet had a 3 inch void to one side, so we could just move the water and drain hoses to the correct location. If the opening for your dishwasher has no spare space then you may have to move the water and drain pipes. CONCLUSION: My two 'complaints' are the cutlery basket - what is a nice feature on one hand can be a nuisance on the other; and the installation. Gaining the extra space is worth any hassle routing the water and drain hoses at installation time. I think this machine is GREAT. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but in this instance you really do get what you pay for.
