Good Dishwasher

Strengths: Stainless Steel tub, Automatic Temperature Control, Quiet, Energy Star Compliant

Weakness: Racks are not adjustable

We decided to go with the KitchenAid brand when we purchase all of the appliances to remodel our kitchen because of the company reputation and cash back rebates from Sears and KitchenAid. We only had it for 2 weeks, but so far we're very happy with it. With ATC, I don't have to set the water heater at a higher temperature to save money and the dishes still come out very clean. We also like the stainless steel interior.

The only gripe is the racks are not adjustable for this model and we're not willing to pay an additional $100 to get this feature.

BTW, this washer also qualified for a $30 PG&E rebate if you lived in Northern CA.

KitchenAid Architect Series KUDI02IR

Strengths: Quiet, roomy, energy efficient.

Weakness: No set-ahead timer

We have had this dishwasher for only a week. We love almost everything about it. It is extremely quiet (to the point I think that I have forgotten to turn it on). It cleans the dishes very well without preloading. It is very well designed and easy to load and operate. It is also looks beautiful in our kitchen with our other matching Kitchen Aid appliances.
