takes forever to boil anything. I am used to an electric stove so maybe I shouldn't compare since this is gas. It seems to put out a lot of heat and heats up the kitchen and will get the handles on my pots very hot. My pots did not get hot like that on my electric stove. I have to use a potholder now just to stir something. If I turn the flame down, the food would not get hot enough to boil. The oven light does not come on automatic when you open the door. You have to turn it on with the button. So it either is on or off based on that. Also the knobs are on the front which I thought would be nice since I don't have to reach over the stove to use them. But then since they are accessible my son likes to play with them. He can can turn it on just barely even though it is not lit, it is leaking out gas then. In all, the oven light issue is a nuisance, it is slow to cook and the knob position is not safe. The oven works fine, the top cleans easily enough (not as easy to clean of course as a smooth top electric) I would not buy it again. I would not recommend it unless you do a lot of canning and then the power burner would be nice (it is the only one I mostly use, as it is the only one that actually gets hot enough to bring a boil). The burners are easier to control the temp, and faster to adjust than an electric stove burner.

Great features for the price!
I have been looking for a new stove for over a year. I had specific qualities it needed to have such as: five burners, broiler in oven compartment and self cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the one on sale at Home Depot. The efficiency, power burner and the use of the broiler are exactly what I wanted. The only downfall I would say is the bottom drawer is a little flimsy.

5 burners is a plus
I was a little worried about having my stove delivered the day before Thanksgiving. We served dinner to 17 without a hitch. Everything turned out perfect. The oven was deeper than my last and able hold two cookie sheets of rolls on one rack bellow the roasting turkey.
