We love our new range.
5 Star Review   By TMBP on Home Depot - Apr 9, 2013

We've only had it for a week, but so far so good. It boils water really quickly and the interior space is huge!

Great looks, easy to use!
5 Star Review   By JJ13 on Home Depot - Apr 3, 2013

I usually read an instruction manual cover to cover before using a product. Not necessary with this range. SO easy to use and it looks great too! The smooth surface top and stainless steel takes a little more effort to keep clean but it just looks so nice it is worth it.

Pick the LG one instead. Bought this one twice but inferior assembly both times.
2 Star Review   By Figment on Home Depot - Mar 7, 2013

Let me explain. I purchased this convection range from Home Depot on sale. I did a lot of research. I actually went to see the range at BestBuy since it was not at the HD store. The salesperson at BB could not say enough great things about Samsung products. I trusted his reviews. My first HD delivery of the Samsung range went fine until we looked at the back of the range. The assembly was horrible! The back panel had been screwed on correctly at the top of the range, but at the bottom, the base was narrower so the assembler had bent the metal tabs outward to accommodate the panel fitting. WTH? The delivery person was surprised too. I thought for the price, I should get a decently assembled range. I rejected the delivery and they re-ordered the range for me. The 2nd delivery attempt we were more cautious. The delivery person only uncovered the back of the range for me to check. Wow... the 2nd one was assembled even worse than the 1st one. The tabs that the screws should fit into and the back panel cover, were even more bent out, in fact the whole back panel was bent outwards to make it fit at the bottom. WHAT? I rejected that one too and went to talk to Home Depot. I ended up getting credited for that range, and picking the LG convection range with SS finish and smooth top instead. And it's all digital, easy to clean, no knobs, smooth top and controls. I LOVE IT. It was a big hassle to go through the 3 deliveries but overall, I believe the LG is way better quality. The back panel on the LG is recessed to accommodate the plug and securely attached, no bending there! Skip this one... or if you really want it, check the assembly in the back..!

Excellent electric range
5 Star Review   By ChefDoc on Home Depot - Jan 11, 2013

As a gourmet cook, I hated to see my gas Viking go away. Due to downsizing it was necessary. I bought this stove after careful research and so far have been very impressed with its operation. It is very pleasing to look at and the knobs are large and look like something from a gas stove. The heating elements are amazingly fast and the controls are quite responsive. The stove heats as fast as my Viking did and has a large capacity and stainless racks. This stove rocks!!! Not missing my Viking and gas as much as I thought

Lovely to look at
4 Star Review   By snowbound on Home Depot - Jan 2, 2013

We bought this stove to replace a 20 year old, glass top stove that never heated evenly or well. This stove looks great - but is really hard to keep looking that way. Our old stove had a mixed grey, black, blue surface which didn't show every drop - The Samsung stove is solid black which needs to be cleaned every single time I cook on it. The range will take getting used to as the burners are very hot - food boils even when set on "low." I tried the convection oven yesterday for the first time, and it really does save time - a recipe that called for 45 minutes baked traditionally took less than 30 minutes in the convention mode - and it cooked the cake evenly. The features on the stove are very nice: fast boil really boils water fast, the warming element was great for Christmas parties and the range looks great. Just wish it were easier to keep looking clean.
