Best Low-Cost Fan on the Market
Hunter makes the best ceiling fans. This fan is reasonably priced and simply attractive. It makes no noise and never gets off-balance. It was also quick and easy to install. We would never buy anything but Hunter fans in the future.

Hunter 52 Low Pro III
Fan is great! Quiet with a lot of quality. Needed a low profile due to low ceiling in fam room, but with enough power to move warm air from pellet stove to other parts of house. Still experimenting--use high speed at times and think forcing air downward actually moves air better due to shape of the room. Use low when I'm watching TV provides very comfortable air flow. I added a low profile Hunter light kit designed for use with this fan. (Part number 26126). IMO, the overall look is better than the Hunter LowPro III Plus (PN 20810) which is the same fan, but already comes with a light. The depth with my setup might be an inch or two less than the 20810. Mine uses 2 candelabra bulbs, very bright with halogen 60W. On-off chain hangs to the side of lamp, as does the fan chain on the other side. Looks great. Reverse switch a little hard to get at, but okay if you remember where it is! Ceiling to bottom of fan blades is about 7 inches. Ceiling to bottom of light is just a tad more than 12 inches. I got the fan cheaper by going to Home Depot and special ordering. Received in 5 bus days free ship to my home. The light kit was available at the store and was $40. For mounting, I used a GE "Saf-T-Bar" ($12) which allows excellent anchor to joists w/o tearing up the floor above. Just poked thru existing 4" hole from previous fan and twist to tighten. It is rock solid. About 4 hours to tear out old fan and install new one. Good instructions, but I go slow! Worth getting the quality and look of the Hunter as opposed to cheaper options. I'm sure it will be great in summer, as well as circulating warm air in winter.

Quietest fan I never heard!!!
This fan looks great, goes from a high speed wind machine to a light air mover nicely and is the quietest fan I have ever purchased. When it's on if I didn't see it moving I wouldn't know it was there, it has virtualy no sound and is great in our bedroom. I will but anohter. hunter makes great fans.
